Do you approve or condemn the missile strike on Syria?

If you don't happen to know what I'm talking about, earlier in the week the Syrian Government used chemical weapons on rebels in a Syrian town. Chemical weapons are outlawed by the Geneva Convention, and using them is a war crime.
In response, the US fired about 59 missiles from a Navy ship, at the Syrian Airbase where the chemical attack was launched from.

Way I see it, Syria broke the rules and as such they were punished. The world can't stand idly by as Syria uses chemical weapons on its own people.

Don't need to defend enforcing the Geneva convention, instead of showing the world that it's ok.

The jets were tracked back to that airbase. I'm also pretty sure the government confirmed the attack on that location, before everyone knew it was a chemical attack.

I'm kind of contested with this subject but something had to be done about the chemical attack

Assuming the Syrian government used gas, I am torn on attacking them. Well, I am more concerned with how. As far as I am aware, Trump didn't get approval. Maybe I missed the need to get it? I do know the ACLU is calling it illegal, so it makes me question it. I also like how we are now concerned about the well being of the Syrian people when we seemingly didn't give a damn about them before this attack. While I'm for helping people of other countries, I just don't trust Trump and his administration with doing that.

Assuming the Syrian Government is attacking their own people they don't really deserve to be "ignored" I just hope America did the right thing firing those missiles.

This right here. Yes there have been articles in the past few years regarding Syria, refugees and terrorism inside Syria, but now since the chemical attack and US missile strike news with regards to the Syrian people has blown up about how the world should be caring now. Yemen is still getting blindsided though with the soon to be mass starvation since the Saudis are the ones bombing them so I don't expect anything like the coverage of Syria to happen anytime soon over in Yemen. I'm just hoping this doesn't become another poster child thing like Alan ended up becoming for Europe. Europe can't cope with any more mass migration; especially Greece and Italy. The EU-Turkey deal is going to fall under because Erdogan is throwing another tantrum about not getting his way and even threatens to "release the flood into Europe." France is already on edge with it, Paris is nothing like it was a few years back. Other EU countries are arguing with each other with terms of the amount that should be taken in or if they've taken their fair share. More Ghettos are springing up in Europe where any non minority even if police or medical can't enter without being ridiculed or assaulted. Europe and the EU can't handle another mass wave at this point of refugees and if the news for what is happening in Syria becomes another poster child for taking in another mass amount of refugees, I see a type of civil war breaking out in Europe soon.

This is just my opinion, but the way I see it is that taking care of the refugees is not our concern. We have no obligation to let them in, and I don't believe that we should have. I don't see this situation as 'we didn't care but now we do'. I see this incident as a response to Assad's war crimes. Cause and effect. Not it being a change of heart about helping the people of Syria. BUT, taking in refugees is a short term solution anyway. Long term, if we go into Syria and just take out the Assad regime, the Syrians can go back home and you don;t even have to worry about the refugee problem. There was a video circulating FB of a CNN clip with a Syrian civilian who was thanking Trump for the missile strike, but even he said 'we don't want to go to America, we want our home back'.

And honestly, the ACLU is a pathetic joke that takes ridiculous stances on almost every subject.
