Mikey what would you suggest for core workouts?

Like mainly for abs? I got my side abs to improve, but like my core isn't all that muscular and I want to improve it.

Should I ache after every gym session?

For example the saying is "no pain no gain", how true is this?

For example, I like to go home with me absolutely shattered, I like doing my best. Should I be pushing myself to the limits? I've only started the about a month ago now. Cheers

To answer your question, yes you should.

The feeling of ache is merely a feeling of it working, when you push yourself to a good extent it's working out your muscles so they're gonna feel tired. But after awhile you'll get used to it and it won't be as bad.

This is why people tend to have recovery days because they need to give their body time to rest.

Lower your bodyfat percentage

Your obliques will show when you're about 15% BF, outline of ABS at about 12-14% and you'll see a full six pack between 8-10%, irrelevent of how much muscle mass you're carrying

I want to put on some muscle and weight. I eat a ton but my metabolism is insanely quick. What would be a recommend method, I don't have very much free time in the day while I'm home, but I have weights I try to light every morning.

Your best bet is going to lean more towards your diet then hitting the gym everyday. Definitely gonna want to work out as much as you can to burn off excess calories, but really just changing your diet and increasing calories / other areas of nutrition in certain areas will give you a healthy weight gain.
