It seems as though Rap Music is getting shittier and shittier with every passing week. If you were to see me in real life, youd probably think that i dont listen to rap but i used to enjoy it a lot. However it seems as though it is getting harder and harder to enjoy due to the low quality that is being thrown out. The worst part is people actually like this stuff because it has a catchy tune. Rip the days when quality actually mattered
I honestly hate Kodak black and the shitty music he has been releasing. The black community would literally flip shit if a white guy released a song that had the imagery that his song Tunnel Vision has. He's a link to the video if you haven't seen it
I am going to go through and just point out a few things that makes this video absolute trash.
The video starts out by showing us a clip of a black guy choking out a white dude with an American flag in the background

A few moments later the video takes us to a scene where that same white guy is shown riding down the road wearing a make America hate again hate and wearing a Rebel Flag vest. They are obviously trying to incite division in our culture and try and link Donald trump with redneck white supremacists while making the white southern culture look trashy. I will talk more about this later

The next scene consists of this guy driving into an area of land called the hunting grounds and apparently trying to hunt down this hardworking black man.

The whole time this scene is going on, it cuts to another scene where it shows a kkk member hanging from a cross and a burning cross. This video is obviously trying to stir things up and spark racism from the African American community.

How did we let rap get to this point. Imagine what would happen if this was instead a video of a country white dude who went into the hood and started beating up black dudes. The backlash would be unreal
Im going to end this rant with a quote from the song.

This is so true. If we did one single thing to a black person, everything's on the news saying racism and discrimination, but no, if a black guy shoots someone, ohh its fine. like wtf is this world we live in honestly i'm moving to **** Australia, who's with me?

Had we sat back, finished the video, and reflected on it, we'd understand it's actually well done.
The ending scene involves a struggle between the two men until the black man restrains the white man into a headlock. It continues where the opening scene off. The music slows down as the white man writhes his legs back and forth in hopes of escape. The black man reaches for an American flag, wraps it around the neck of the white man, and begins to choke the white man. The music is then abruptly cut short as the shot cuts to a little white girl in the field crying out one word - "Stop!" The two men stop struggling to stare at the girl. They are breathing heavily and a sense of humiliation and regret can be seen across both men's faces. The shot is no longer heavily saturated as it was moments ago. We, the audience, are left with a message - "Is this how we want to raise our youth?"
But you conveniently left that part out, right?
Stop ranting about the evolution of a predominantly black genre of music, stop singling out one artist for expressing their opinions of the current dynamic of racial equality in the US, and stop positioning an entire genre of music under one umbrella for one video you never bothered finishing.

While I respect your opinion on the video, I personally think you're viewing it in the wrong way. From what I can see, his video is a display of his feelings and his view of the world. He feels like everyone is against him, that he has enemies on both sides of the "camp" (ie both races). This can been seen in the lyrics below:
As for the provocative images / gifs you put up for criticism, I again don't feel the same way as you do.

Taking this completely out of context it does seem to insight a racial response, but I feel this is only inserted in the beginning as a means to hook you in and keep you watching (similar to a movie trailer). I don't think there was any malicious intent behind this shot, though this is my opinion. I say in the beginning because with context at the end when this shot is shown again it makes much more sense and you can see he only responded in that way after the man attempted to kill him with his rifle.

You say you feel this is trying to tie into President Trump and white supremacy (among other things) but I don't feel this to be the case at all. This again references the "how Kodak sees things" statement I made earlier. I think this is more Kodak showing how some (note, not all nor the majority) Trump supporters are using his famous "Make America Great Again" motto in a hateful way. This is how Kodak feels when he sees people down south with battle flags and other paraphernalia. It's no secret that there has been increased racial tension surrounding President Trumps entering office.
This is only my opinion.

Not entirely sure why you included this shot, do you feel sympathy for the KKK member? While I don't agree with lashing out with violence I don't see how this is "sparking racism from the African American community." This isn't a random white guy that lives in your neighborhood it's a member of a racial hate group so I'm not sure why you feel this is sparking racism from African Americans.

You have raised a lot of good points and i see where you are coming from. However i do want to explain why i chose to talk about the kkk scence. I dislike the scene becuase i feel as though he is playing on people's hatred and anger towards on each other and that in turn influences how that group treats other groups. Situations with police brutality towards black teens has already started alot tension and hatred towards the subject and his song is increasing it. As you may know Kodak is now in jail under charges for volaiting his probation and in the song he talks about how they qoute "They wanna see you in the penitentiary". I dont like this Kodak black dude

Yes i dislike the song becuase of the lyrics and video. I also dislike the song starboy by the weekend. while some may think the lyrics are talking about him changing into a better person, it actually talks about how he is among the worlds elite now and it uses satanic imagery in the video.
And i also wontt be listening to any more Kodak Black. I would rather listen to better artists like George Strait and Kenny Chesney
