Bottle Flip!

Platform: Android, iOS
Genre: Arcade
Release Date: Novemember 29th, 2016
Developer: Ketchapp
Publisher: Ubisoft

Let the bottle flip from one table to the next! Do it as many times in a row as you can! Just touch and hold the screen to charge and release to let the bottle flip. Try not to fall down!

Bottle Flip! is pretty much what we seen in 2016. You're required to bottle flip a bottle onto a desk then onto the next one then onto the next one. Some features that surprised me were there are actually 4 different game modes in the game. There is the original "Classic" game mode where you just try to get as much bottle flips as you can in one run without shooting it to weak or to far. The second game mode is "Bowling" where you will have to bottle flip it knocking down all the pins on the table. You will be given 2 tries to knock them down and will be scored for all the pins you knock down. The 3rd game mode is "Speed Run" similar to the classic game mode but fast pace of course. The first platform you land on will start to fade away making you go faster and faster each platform you land on. A lot of concentration on this mode. The last game mode is called "Stacking" which I find so weird but in this mode you will have to stack as many bottles as you can. Don't worry you do not need to focus on trying to balance the tower or be scared it will fall, all you have to do is land one on top of the other. Throughout each game mode there will be gems that you can collect letting you unlock new looking bottles for your journey in Bottle Flip!

Similar to a lot of Ketchapp apps, Bottle Flip! has a design we don't see much in apps that often. All the tables to the bottle you flip is 3D with sharp edges and not just a smooth object. They also took the time to do amazing shadow work on every structure in the game making it look realistic. In happen to make it far in certain game modes, you will notice numerous of different looking tables and platforms your bottle is allowed to land on. For an arcade game you usually don't see much in the background of the game which is what this game is exactly like. Each attempt at a game mode the background will change colors to change the mood of the game and keep it different and not just one color. I haven't had a chance to unlock many bottles yet but from looking at the ones I have at the moment each bottle has a unique to them. The more expensive bottles have a really neat design to them making you want to save up for them more than the others. There's probably roughly over 50 different bottles purchasable in the game.

Controls where actually all easier then I had in my. To flip the bottle all you have to do is hold down the screen and it will do the work for you. You'll have to hold the screen for a certain amount of time because you're trying to reach the table or the objects you're trying to go for. There is a short tutorial in the beginning of the game you and you can also reset tutorial allowing you to go over everything again.

Gameplay: 10/10
Graphics: 9/10
Controls: 10/10
Overall: 9.7/10
