Synopsis

GYRO is a wonderfully simple yet fiendishly addictive arcade puzzle game like none youve ever seen before; a game of pure old school arcade beauty that serves up that just one more go factor in spades. Use one finger to rotate the multi-coloured wheel 360 degrees whilst making sure that the coloured balls flying onto the screen land in the matching part of the wheel. Sounds easy? Throw in more balls and increasingly faster speed over time and GYRO becomes a fast-paced game of skill and nerves, urging you to collect power-ups, rack up massive scores and last as long as you can whilst your skills are tested to the absolute max!

Gameplay

GYRO is a color matching game where you'll have a wheel with 3 colors (Red, Yellow, Blue) and you'll have to match the wheel with the balls flying towards you (Can also obtain other color sets throughout the game). May seem easy but there will be multiple balls and you'll need to work quick. There will be power-ups to aid you in the struggle but I wouldn't count on them all the time. At the main menu you will have a total of 4 different game modes. One being Challenges where you will try to get as many color matches as possible. The more you match the better possibility of receiving a star. There is a total of 48 different stages and 144 stars achievable. You will also have another game mode called "Arcade where of course are matching colors but for an infinite amount of time. If you match a color you'll get a score for how big the circle is and your multiplier will go up. If you match a color wrong you will lose 1x of your multiplier and a bit of your health. The point of arcade is to try to get as many colors as you can try to get your score soaring in numbers. The 3rd game mode is called "Time Attack" where you're trying to score as many matches in under 90 seconds. Similar to arcade you will try to match as many as possible trying to get as many score as you can but just under a time limit. The last game mode is called Hardcore and I found this the hardest one of them all. There will be 6 seconds on the circle, 3 being colors and the other 3 being immediate death. You are trying to match each color with the designated color on the wheel but if you happen to hit a color on the skull symbol on your wheel the round will end instantly and you'll have to restart.

Graphics

Pretty straightforward game if you ask me. The game is focused on the 3 main colors red, blue, and yellow (Or any other color set you use). That's what you're going to be noticing a lot about this game and mostly the only thing that will be on your screen. You'll encounter many power-ups through your playthrough but nothing really surprising that will want you to pick them up because of their looks. Each circle that is hurling towards you will leave an outline of the same color as it is which is a neat feature they've added. I really wouldn't mind if they tried putting maybe shadows in the game because its all just simple plain colors. Would be also nice to maybe see a background that has cool effects or randomly generated images for example squares or circles falling down the screen just to maybe bring more visuals to the screen. There's really not much to talk about since there's really nothing happening when playing GYRO.

Controls

You will need a finger to play this game. You will have to hold down the screen and spin the circle that is in the middle of your screen. May need to constantly move your finger back and forth since the game gets incredible hard at moments. There will be a white rectangle at the bottom with arrows on each side which is recommend to use to rotate the circle but you can still rotate the circle anywhere else. There is no delay with your movement to the movement of the circle so no worries about that. From my understanding that is every control you need to know to play this game.
