Gameplay

If you have ever played the Crossy Road then this game is going to feel somewhat similar. Starting out with the slowest car in the game, you will have to make your way on a road driving through busy intersections and railways where there is a high risk of you getting hit. But that's where you come in, you will take the role of moving the vehicle from left to right and making it go forward as far as you can. You are allowed to brake and stay at an intesection when its clear to move along but if you wait to long and your car goes off-screen you will end with an F. There are a total of 8 different vehicles you're allowed to control with each one being able to upgrade by speed, brake, and handling. Each upgrade costs a certain amount of coins and each upgrade you complete there will be another one but with more coins. Each car will have a total of 20 upgrades in each category so don't think you'll finish the game in 2 hours. Coins will be scattered through the game where you'll have to drive over them being able to collect them. Once you play you will notice there are different types of coins, one being a simple gold coin that will give you 1 coin each time you pick up. Then there is the white and blue coins that give you 2 coins after you pick them up.

Graphics

For me I believe Speed Car is feels like it is set in a candy world. The trees look like huge candy bars and the rocks look like starbursts. But everything in the game is 3D which makes it even more enjoyable. The selection of vehicles you're allowed to use isn't that big but each car is still pretty impressive to look at. Each vehicle has a beautiful structure built around them with a noticeable look. Of course there are cars that look a lot better than the others but if you know your cars in real life you can tell they tried their best to try making each car look like the real ones we see today. Someone I wish they did would be try to have different vehicles crossing at intersections. Sometimes I sit at intersections for a while but all I see is cabs driving by 1 by 1. Would be really nice if they switched things up and had multiple vehicles driving by rather than the same one. I would have also loved to see some other environments or different stages that that change the look of the game instead of just a sunny grassland. It would have been awesome to see maybe some snow or desert stages but for how far I got into the game I didn't see much of that. The car crashes in this game I would say are alright but not what I was suspecting. Once you get hit by a car you'll automatically come to a dead stop and the game will end. You car will look a little totaled by I would say its what a real car crash would look like.

Controls

At the beginning of the game there will be no tutorial for the controls of the game but after my first run I had them down. To be able to move your vehicle you'll have to hold down the screen giving your vehicle gas. If you want to brake at intersections all you have to do is just let go of the screen and the game will brake for you. A cool feature is that you can move your car side to side in the 2 lanes you are given. To do so you'll have to slide your finger side to side moving your vehicle at a slow rate. You will notice there are huge arrows showing you the side to side motion but there is also huge letters at the start of every run letting you to hold down the screen to give you gas.
