So one of my accounts on Xbox live were banned back on 360 days before the xbox one was out. There are lots of videos, forums and topics online which show tutorials of how to unban them but most are false. One of them which I am yet to debunk is the one where if you get numerous people to report the account gamertag, a new 2 day ban will replace the perma ban. Has anyone had any luck with this method in the past, if so let me know.

I doubt this works anymore, people used to report gamertags to get a free name change, not sure if this works in the same way.

Worth a try though.

That was a myth, only worked if you had a some what inappropriate name as your tag, like "i hate jews".
