The game tasks the player with building and managing their own Vault, a fallout shelter.Gameplay:
Fallout Shelter is a free-to-play, mobile, base building game, in which the player builds their own Vault and takes the role of Overseer. In the game you expand your Vault and try to keep your citizens happy. In Fallout Shelter, players build and manage their own Vault as an overseer the leader and coordinator of their vault. Players guide and direct the citizens of the Vault, and need to keep them happy through meeting their needs such as power, food, and water. You rescue dwellers from the post apocalyptic wasteland and assign them to different resource generating buildings in the vault, using the SPECIAL stat system from the other Fallout games. Each character's SPECIAL statistics affects their ability to generate different resources, and their statistics can be increased by training them in rooms devoted to each stat. The dwellers can level up over time, increasing their health, and can be given new items and weapons to help with various tasks. The number of dwellers can be increased by waiting for new dwellers from the wasteland to arrive, or by pairing a male and a female dweller in living quarters to produce babies and they become more dwellers. You have to protect your Vault from different types of bandits or monsters.Graphics:
As you would imagine from Bethesda the graphics in this game are great for a mobile app, very simplistic but gives a very enjoyable touch, sometimes the game is a bit glitchy when it comes to moving your dwellers from room to room but apart from that everything else is fine. The details in this app are incredible down to last point, every room has its very own feel from power room to storage room. Even when it comes to guns and clothing the detail is unique and spot on.

The controls in Fallout Shelter are very simplistic, to move you simply swipe/move your finger on the screen. To move your dwellers from room to room you hold your finger down on the chosen dweller and drag them to wherever you choose. To equip your dwellers with different clothing, guns or med packs you click on the dwellers and choose which items you want to equip them with.Rating:

If you are a fan of simulation games then I highly recommend this game, it is great fun to play as and passes the time when boredom strikes.
