Game Information
Developer : Big Pixel Studios
Publisher : Adult Swim
Genre(s) : RPG
Platform(s) : Android, iOS
Release date : 13th January 2016(worldwide)

Plot
At the beginning of Pocket Mortys, Rick(you) and Morty are building a MortyPad in the garage, a device to collect and store data, and stats on all the Mortys you meet on your adventures. Suddenly, Mysterious Rick appears in the garage, with his Stray Cat Morty from a portal and challenges Rick(you) to a Morty battle. After you win the battle, Mysterious Rick returns to his portal, and Rick decides to follow him with Morty to gather data for the MortyPad. After following Mysterious Rick, he tricks you and sends you to the Council of Ricks. Here, your portal gun is confiscated and you must win badges to battle the Council of Ricks and earn your portal gun back, to get home. You earn badges by travelling through dimensions to battle Ricks. In these dimensions, you must gather items to craft, battle Ricks to level up your Mortys, and eventually battle the head Rick of the dimension to earn a badge, and open a portal back to the Citadel. The Citadel has a Morty healing center, where you can restore your Mortys to full HP and AP. There is also a store where you can spend your schmeckles on items, such as Morty Manipulator Chips(which you need to collect Wild Mortys), health potions, and seeds to increase your stats, or instantly level up a Morty. The last 'store' in the Citadel, is the Morty Day Care where you store your Mortys that aren't travelling with you. You can have a maximum of 5 Morty in your pack at any one time, so any Mortys not in your pack, will be back at the Day Care. Throughout the Citadel, and dimensions, you can find craft stations to craft potions, seeds, and various other items. You will also find "Blips and Chitz" machines where you can use coupons to win Mortys, cash, items and more Blips and Chitz coupons. You can purchase coupons to use in the Blips and Chitz machines, otherwise you win one every time you defeat one of the Ricks in the Council of Ricks.

Gameplay
Pocket Mortys, as of now, is only Single Player. So although the game is fun, once you've defeated the Council of Ricks, I imagine it will start to get boring. However, there are apparently more Mortys coming in future updates, maybe we'll also see some more cool stuff in updates, like new levels/battles, and possibly even Multiplayer. I honestly feel like a Multiplayer option could be cool, I'd like to be able to battle friends' Ricks, and maybe steal some of their Mortys from 'em.

Controls
Controls are simple and laid out easily. You'll be playing the game in Landscape mode. You have a small touch screen d-pad in the bottom left of the screen to move your Rick around, and an "A" button in the bottom right corner to start actions, such as access stores, or initiate battles with other Ricks/Wild Mortys. In the top right os the screen is your MortyPad, where you can access stats/data on your Mortys, access your items, and also buy items from the store whilst away from the Citadel.

Graphics
I really don't feel like there is an awful lot to say about the graphics. They're pretty good, nothing special. All the different Mortys are pretty cool, some are funny. I'll include some images in a spolier here, so that you can see for yourself how the game looks.

Audio
Much like the audio in the TV shows of Rick and Morty, some of the things they say is hilarious. However, there's only so many phrases that Rick and the Mortys will say, and once you've heard all(or most of them), it starts to get old and a little annoying. It would be nice if in the future, the audio was updated with more phrases, in my own opinion.

Rating
Plot : 9/10
Gameplay : 8/10
Controls : 9/10
Graphics : 9/10
Audio : 8/10
Overall : 8.6/10

Definitely man. I love Rick and Morty, and I'm sure that is a part of the reason I love this game so much lol. It's definitely good to have installed for long journeys, or in case you're bored at school/work, or just when you're out.
