Gameplay

---

The gameplay featured in this game is very similar to a game which everyone remembers, many love, and many hate, this would be the one and only Flappy Bird, but this game has a twist. Flappy Bird has you fly through pipes, not hitting them while this game has you tapping the screen to rise as you do in Flappy Bird, but instead of having pipes to get through you bounce off walls. Every time you bounce off a wall, a set of spikes will appear on the opposite wall that you must avoid to successfully bounce off. Hitting any spike will cause you to lose. There are many game modes in this game, the main one is the base game where you get a point for every wall you bounce off, while you can collect orange candies which you can use later on along with other in-game currencies to purchase new birds, and unlocks for other game modes. Another game mode is the cave, the cave is completely pitch black so you must upgrade your helmet light to see better in the cave. The layout is exactly the same, although you have a limited view due to the darkness and that the spikes are moving up the wall in a random fashion. You can also collect green crystals which you can use to purchase new birds. The other main game mode is duel, where you face off increasingly harder bot birds to see who will win 3 rounds first. To win rounds you must last longer than the bot bird, basically you have to last long enough for the bot bird to hit a spike. You get rewards for completing duels, which get bigger as you progress through the duels, which also get harder. The other feature in the game isn't as such a game mode, it is your own little forest area where birds will fly by. Tapping on the birds will drop a blue diamond which can be used to buy new birds. You can upgrade your park to have more birds fly by, meaning more diamonds. You upgrade the park with candy and diamonds.

Graphics

The graphics in this game are very aesthetically pleasing, the whole game is 2D based with very smooth animations and transitions. The way that all of the candies, diamonds and crystals sort of bob around on the spot while they are waiting to be collected, the way that the bird flies around the screen and turns black with crosses as its eyes when it hits a spike and dies. There are lots of little things in this game that makes the overall experience much better. The color scheme in this game is also very complimentary to the simplicity of this game, there are mixtures of primary colors with dark greys, black and whites. All of the colors works together to separate the different things in the game from each other, such as separating the walls from the spikes.

Audio

The audio in this game is quite basic however there isn't much more audio you could have in the game to make it realistic. Right now, in-game there are different sounds for bouncing off the walls, hitting spikes, collecting candies and other gems. When you are navigating the menus, there are simple sounds that are triggered when you select something or do an action, to indicate that you have indeed selected or done something. In the park area, there are sounds of birds whistling in the background, more so when you upgrade the park to give you the sound impression that you have more birds flying around.

Controls

The controls in this game are very simple, all you have to do is tap anywhere on the screen to make the bird jump up. It is more about how well you use the controls, being co-ordinated, accurate and concentrating will help you get high scores in the games and progress as far as possible. One thing regarding the controls which can be a problem is having your finger cover up parts of the screen by tapping that you need to be able to see. There is no real solution to this, moving your finger around isn't easy if you are trying to concentrate on the game.
