Synopsis:

NBA 2K11 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and 2K Sports and published by 2K Sports. It was released on October 5, 2010 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP, Windows, while the Wii version came out on October 21, 2010. Michael Jordan is the cover athlete of the game and is featured in the game in different ways. NBA 2K11 is the successor to NBA 2K10.

Gameplay:
Welcome to NBA 2k11, this game is a basketball game that will allow you to play basketball against the professionals. Once you have started I recommend jumping into the career mode and begin your career as a professional basketball player and start from the bottom and working your way up. You will get to create your character and begin your career as you get drafted and put onto a team and then it is all about earning your playing time after that. This is the game that features Micheal Jordan and there is a lot that tribute his career and you can actually relive his highlights as a professional basketball player and try to beat some of the challenges set by Micheal Jordan. Playing as Micheal Jordan is probably the best thing about this game sense you really get to just go and crush any opponent that tries to defend you. Depending on the team you play will depend on your teams play style as well which is another thing I found interesting. I personally found this game to be very fun and seems to be more realistic from earlier basketball games. I think this game is really the one that changed basketball games and made them way more realistic and they seem to continue to be continuing to be that way as a new one comes out every year. I enjoy playing this game and I still play this game today every now and then. The multiplayer is really fun and I personally enjoy playing against my friends and if I beat them being able to talk smack until we go for a rematch and then realize 4 hours have gone by. Overall this game is really good and possibly one of the best basketball games ever made. I really enjoyed the challenges this game offers and think other gamers will enjoy this game too.

Graphics:

The graphics for NBA 2K11 are pretty decent I think there are a few little things that do not look good but everything else really looks good and is actually pretty detailed. Sense detail is the most important thing to me in video games this is something I look for and really makes or breaks a game for me. NBA 2K11 has pretty good detail to it I think and I was actually pretty impressed. The players are by far the most detailed thing in the game. The players look and act like actual people and I think this really makes this game stand out from the earlier games from this series. The atmosphere for this game is actually pretty good too. I really like how the crowd reacts at right times and makes the game more intense when it is needed. The AI actually move like basketball players would and make the game feel more realistic because of this. The other thing I was concerned about was players clipping or walking through each other but this has never happened to me and I was impressed that there was not many glitches in this game. Overall the graphics are quite impressive and make the game look pretty realistic. I personally was impressed by the attention to detail in this game and think it really makes the game stand out pretty well. I think the developers did a good job on the graphics and I think it shows pretty well.

Controls:

The controls for NBA 2K11 are actually pretty basic and really almost the same as the earlier games from this series. The controls are pretty easy to retain once you have played a few times and I did not find anything wrong with the control layout at all. I found the controls so basic that it makes the game more fun sense you do not have to think about the control layout which helps the player focus on the game. I think the controls really give you full control of the player which is what you would be looking for in a sports game and I think this is exactly what this game does. There is a little tutorial that will help new players learn the controls which I found pretty useful. Overall the controls fit the game just fine and I found nothing wrong with them. I personally like how basic they are and think any gamer would be able to retain the control layout. The tutorial is pretty useful and I think it was pretty fun as well.

great 2k but the play style of it was very fake
