Synopsis

ULTRAFLOW is a minimalist yet complex puzzle game based on your agility.

You have a limited number of bounces to complete each level.
No score. No timer. The only challenge is your smoothness.

Gameplay

ULTRAFLOW is a very relaxing and addictive game to play at anytime. In this game you control a ball, and with this ball you have to some how get it into the ring strategically placed on the other side of the obstacles. In the ball there are numbers that change very level depending on the amount of difficulty. These numbers represent the amount of times it takes for the ball to ricochet off the wall in order to get it into the ring. Once the number reaches zero the ball will explode and you will have to start all over again. There are over 99 levels in this game each having their own amount of difficulty and mind bending puzzles. Each level is not random so you can practice whenever you want. This is a great pick up and play game and is good for when you want to pass some time. Each stage ranges in the amount of levels there are as well. As you play there will be many new obstacles to overcome and it sometimes makes it frustrating to play. For example, arrows make the ball move extremely fast when traveling along them and they could also push you in any direction. Another example is the striped rectangles that slow you down as you travel over them. There are no points in this game and no time to rush you or anything which I like a lot because you can take your own time. Obstacles including the ring can move in different levels making players to have to plan out their next move. I really like playing this game as it takes a lot of thinking in order to beat each level. If you are stuck they do have arrow guides that show you the direction in which to bounce off of. Overall this game is both extremely mind boggling and fun which is what I like most about it.

Graphics

The graphics in this game are pretty nice and simplistic. Every stage has it's own color scheme to it which makes it feel fresh and brand new every time. The colors match really well with each other and it looks fantastic while playing. When the ball hits other surfaces mini triangles begin to get thrown from the ball and it adds a cool little effect while playing. A tracer follows the ball as well which I think looks pretty cool as you can see where the ball is going all of the time. Animations on both the obstacles and the movement of the ball looks great while playing. I have suffered from frame issues a couple of times while playing because of the triangle effect that takes place after hitting an obstacle, but it isn't too much of an issue. Overall the graphics are simple and fit well with the gameplay.

Controls

The controls in this game are easy to understand, but pretty hard to master. In this game you have to move the ball into a ring that is placed on the other side of the level. In order to do that you will have to make the ball ricochet off of the walls in order to get it inside the ring. You can do this by tapping and holding the screen and then swiping your finger into the direction that you want the ball to go. If you swipe to hard the ball gets launched extremely fast and if you swipe softly the ball will move extremely slow. You can only move the ball once and the rest is carried out by itself. You have a small area in which you can move the ball so you have to plan out your moves. Overall the controls can be a bit tedious to use at times, but it really brings you satisfaction when you finally are able to get the ball into the ring.
