Story:

Welcome to Guitar Hero Aerosmith, you get to follow the well know band around back in the glory days of rock and right when they was a up and coming band. It is time to grab your guitar and get ready to play as you become the biggest thing to hit rock ever. As you start playing more into the campaign you will be playing in front of a bigger audience every time and even playing harder songs that will pump up the crowd as you and the band rock on. So get ready for the ride of your life as you and the band embark on they journey of becoming the biggest rock stars the world has ever seen.

Gameplay:

Guitar Hero Aerosmith has a really awesome and unique game play experience when you first begin you get to choose your own guitarist and get ready to head on the road with the famous band Aerosmith as you guys start from the bottom and work your way up to the top with each concert you play in and the more cheering fans you get you will become a rock legend in no time. When you start a song you will see color coded notes start coming down your screen toward you and once they hit the correct spot you must hit that button for it to play the note correctly. With there being a few different difficulties to choose from you can start out slow with just a few notes coming at you at once at a very slow paced and spread out pretty well which will make it extremely easy for you to play or if you like a challenge go ahead and try out the harder difficulties and be prepared to be hitting multiple notes at once with a very intense fast speed that only the masters of this game can correctly perfect. As you complete concerts you will earn money depending on your performance which can be used to purchase new guitars or things for your guitarist. As you progress through the campaign it will get harder with each concert paying out more then the previous one if you play well. But as you play along side Aerosmith through the rock and roll years you will play a lot of hit songs and really become part of the band. But this game also offers a multiplayer as well and with this you can play against your friends or team up together to rock out a concert. I personally like playing against my friends and see who can get the higher school and then we will go rock out a concert together and get the crowd cheering. Overall this game is really fun to play especially if you enjoy classic rock. Playing a lot of hit songs and hearing the crowed go wild as you nail every note perfectly really makes you feel like you are really part of the band playing. I recommend this game to anyone that has not already gotten the chance to play it. There are other Guitar Hero games in this series but the Aerosmith one is by far my favorite one.

Graphics:

The graphics for Guitar Hero Aerosmith are nothing that will blow you away and leave you in awe. Honestly the actual graphics are a bit poor I think and I was not to impressed with them at all. The only thing that looks really good is the actual keynotes moving on screen and when you hit them and they break with all the flashing colors and explosions this is what really looks good in this game. The actual characters and atmosphere to the game is there as well but really not to detailed which is a bit disappointing I think because it does not help you feel like you are actually there playing with the band. But overall these graphics do fit the game well still and I do really like watching the notes be broken and watching all the colors that mix together. The attention to detail is really not there which is unfortunate because I think if there was more detail this game would still be extremely popular.

Controls:

The controls for Guitar Hero Aerosmith are extremely unique to the game and are really fun to use and really make you feel like you are actually playing on a guitar and playing with the band. Sense your actual control is to resemble a guitar this is what really makes the who control layout unique and really awesome. Using a controller that resembles a guitar is really awesome and really makes you feel like you are actually playing with the band. The actual controls are really easy on the guitar and are color coded which will match the notes in game and all you have to do is push done the correct colored button and stroke the "string" which is actually just a button that goes up and down that you flip up and down. But overall the controls are really awesome and easy to remember. The whole idea of using a guitar as the controller is really unique and really make this game stand out from the rest.

Overall:

Gameplay: 9/10
Graphics: 8/10
Controls: 9/10
Overall: 8.8/10
