Synopsis

Bounce is officially here. Battle friends for the high score in this never-ending game of grabbing power-ups, taking down enemies and climbing to the top.
Simply touch the left or right side of the screen to move your character and break the green lines to increase your score. May the person who breaks the most lines win.

Gameplay

Bounce is a randomly generated puzzle game created by Ketchapp. This game is very challenging at times and I had trouble get past my score which I love about this game because it keeps me hooked for hours on end. In this game you control a ball that bounces, by tapping on the left or right side of the screen you move the ball in those directions allowing you to bounce on bars and other structures so that you can go higher up and break the green lines as you go. Each green line you break while playing increases the score by one point. As you play anything colored red will pop your ball so you have to be careful. There are 3 bars that you can bounce on each making the puzzle more difficult. The grey bar doesn't move, the blue bar moves and the yellow bar falls when you touch it. The game is very simplistic and the music fits well and is kind of relaxing. As you play there are power-ups to get like super bounce and super energy. There are many different obstacles to go through as you play making this game very frustrating at times. The ads at the bottom of the screen do get annoying as you can't see the platforms below you at times. Other then that this game is very fun and simple to play and I definitely recommend it.

Graphics

The graphics in this game are very simplistic and nice to look at. Only a handful of colors are used throughout the game making it a great visual experience. Power-ups and obstacles have little animations in them making them seem lively. Particles from broken objects have real life physics which really makes the game look amazing. I really do wish they added more effects or colors to the background instead of keeping it all white as it would of aided to the difficulty of the game. At certain points when there are mini balls falling from the sky it actually lowers the frame rate making it hard to play. Overall the graphics are simple and good for this game and I really didn't have that many problems with it.

Controls

The controls are very simple for this game just like any other game made by ketchapp. You simply tap on the left or right side of the screen to move your bouncing ball on objects around the puzzle. It's pretty hard to learn the right times to move the ball left or right making the game hectic and fun. I never really experienced any issues with touch recognition while I was playing the game. Controlling the ball at certain obstacles felt clunky at times including when the obstacles were moving. Controlling the ball was especially hard when you were bouncing between to bars because you would always end up bouncing so fast that you would die once you tried to move the ball. Overall the controls are pretty good, but they need to work more on making the ball move smoother on moving obstacles.
