Synopsis

Flow Free is a simple yet addictive puzzle game.
Connect matching colors with pipe to create a flow. Pair all colors, and cover the entire board to solve each puzzle in Flow Free. But watch out, pipes will break if they cross or overlap!

Free play through hundreds of levels, or race against the clock in Time Trial mode. Flow Free gameplay ranges from simple and relaxed, to challenging and frenetic, and everywhere in between. How you play is up to you. So, give Flow Free a try, and experience "mind like water"!

Objective

The objective in this game is simple to break down. Simply match the colored dots around various spots on the board with pipes to create a flow. Matching every color
on the board with the correct pipes solves the puzzle for that level. But, crossing or overlapping pipes will disconnect them from their pairs so be careful!

Gameplay

Free flow has been around for years now and it is a very addicting and clever game. There are over 1500 unique levels to play and each level introduces you to a new puzzle to solve. It ranges from solving puzzles at your own pace to being timed on certain puzzles. At points I found myself stuck on certain levels for a long period of time, but if you do need help they do offer 3 free hints to help you solve the puzzle. Every so often after solving around 3-4 levels you do get some annoying ads that pop up, but it is expected as this is a free to play game. I have experienced some small amounts of lag caused by the ads, but nothing too major. The easiest levels are on the regular pack and they start out on a 5x5 grid which shouldn't take you too long to solve. It then progresses to 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, and 9x9 being the hardest. If you are up for more of a challenge you can unlock the extreme pack or the jumbo pack which contains 14x14 grids! If you do run out of hints as you are playing there are sadly no other ways of getting them without paying for them. I had a great time playing this game to keep me focused at certain points of the day or to just pass time in general. I would also recommend this game to any age range as it is very user friendly.

Graphics

Graphics for this game aren't really essential, but there are some notable things that I did and didn't like about this app. To start off at the menu screen the word "flow" is colored in a rainbow effect and the rest of the menu text is just plain white. They do have options to change the color themes of the text, but it only effects one word on the menu screen and three themes are free while the rest you have to pay for which I didn't like. To me it doesn't seem like they put too much effort into designing the look of the menu as much as well as the rest of the game. In the background there are colored pipes moving across the screen which look pretty cool, but I wasn't really that satisfied with it as I thought they could have done something better. After solving some levels the grid full of colored pipes looked pretty cool and I enjoyed the look of it.

Controls

The controls are very simple for this type of game. All you have to do is basically touch, swipe, and hold the screen to move the direction of the pipes. At times I did have some trouble moving pipes as they wouldn't recognize the touch and would move the pipes wildly across the grid. But, other then that I had no other problems playing or getting the controls down for this game and I do not think you should have a problem too if you decide to get this game.
