Plot:
Devil May Cry 3 is set in a world where demons and dark entities are causing trouble for the world, Devil May Cry 3 starts out where Dante is in his shop trying to think of a name for the shop, while thinking of the name he gets interrupted by a demon attack. After Dante defeats the demons, he tries to find out who sent them so he can kill the leader/attackers and resolve the problems. On the way to tracking down the leader Dante encounters Cerberus a three headed dog boss, Cerberus thinks Dante is human so Cerberus decides to attack Dante only releasing that he just got defeated. Cerberus acknowledges Dante's strength and power so he decides to give Dante his soul in a weapon. After Dante loses against Vergil he then discovers his demonic powers making him stronger than before. After Dante returns to the human world after switching to the demon realm, he then names his shop Devil May Cry and him and Lady become demon slayers.

Gameplay:
When it comes to Devil May Cry and gameplay the only thing I can think of is FUN! The game is set out like an arcade game, where you progress through levels each getting harder. The arcade feel comes from the amount of killing you do, the hack and slashing of enemies is really fun especially when they're in a huge group and you basically demolish them. When playing the game you come against different enemies, each different strengths, difficulties and looks. There are many Boss levels in Devil May Cry where you will have to fight an enemy who has loads of attack power/health. When it comes to the actually fighting side of the game its up to you how you play, you can use your imagination and creativity on how you string combos, and spill blood. When you finish levels you get graded on how well you did. Along with this when in combat you have stylish rankings, the better you do the more it levels up. All in all Devil May Cry 3 is a very fun game and you can spend hours in the game just slaying the demons trying to progress and advance, if you haven't tried out the game, get it and give it a try.

Graphics:
When revisiting the game all I could think was "The graphics were this bad? I don't remember them being this bad?" so yeah take it quite literally the games graphics are bad, but it is a really old game, the fun thing is the game doesn't really need fancy graphics, the way the game plays out is really fun and enjoyable so graphics isn't really a must in this game, with that being said if the game was recreated with better graphics it would be on my top 5 list for fun games maybe? The game truly is great though and you should definitely give it a try, yeah there are glitches with the graphics and animations every now and then but that's to be expected from a game this old. The game does look arcade like but you have probably played many games with teh same style of graphics so it shouldn't really bother you:

Controls:
The controls in this game are very easy to get use to and are very well lay out for combos which you can perform quick. When playing the PC version the controls felt a lot more clunky compared to the ps2, which felt smooth and right. Maybe it's just a bad port which it sorta is, don't let this put you off from playing though guys, just try the game and you'll see where I'm coming from below is a screenshot of the controls:
