Synopsis
Wolfenstein: The New Order reignites the series that created the first-person shooter genre. Under development at Machine Games, a studio comprised of a seasoned group of developers recognized for their work creating story-driven games, Wolfenstein offers a deep game narrative packed with action, adventure and first-person combat.

Story 9/10
In Wolfenstein: The New Order you play as Captain William "B.J." Blazkowicz the protagonist of the original, Wolfenstein 3D. The story follows the events of World War II, except the Nazi's won. This made the story extremely interesting to me because you get a glimpse at what would've happen (or at least what Machine Games think would've happened) if the Nazi's had won the war. I should also mention it took me nine hours to finish the game.

Gameplay 8/10
Wolfenstein: The New Order has great gun-play and sound. But, the missions got a tad repetitive over the course of the game. You would go stealth at the beginning, taking down any commanders so they can't call reinforcements, then go guns blazing to finish off the rest of the enemies too then complete an objective. Also, a little more than halfway through the game you get forced to complete fetch quests over and over and it gets very annoying because all you want too do is find out what happens next! Regardless of these two flaws, the gun-play and sound are still very good at their core.

Graphics 7/10 (but could have easily been 10/10)
This is where the game has some major flaws (for the PC at least). Either this game does not support AMD Graphics Cards well or it had awful screen-tear on the PC. But, when the screen-tearing would calm down for a bit, (playing on ultra settings) the game was gorgeous. The blood, the gore, the rustic and futuristic environments looked absolutely stunning. I tip my hat to Machine Games for being the only game that made me skip a cut-scene because it was too disgusting. Amazing graphics, when the screen wouldn't tear.

Controls 8/10
Playing on the PC with a keyboard and mouse, Wolfenstein's controls were very fluid at times but the crouching, sliding and melee key(s) got a little annoying during the game. I would find myself attempting to slide into cover but for some reason I wouldn't stay crouched, I would stand back up after sliding and continue too get shot at. Just some minor issues though, not that big of a deal.

Conclusion
Don't get me wrong, Wolfenstein: The New Order is a great game. It's very fun and the story is intriguing. But, the screen-tearing and repetitiveness made this game not as amazing as it could have been. Also, since its a Single-player game, there is little to no reason too play this game again unless you want to witness the story once more. Wolfenstein: The New Order is a great game, with a few issues.

Final rating: 8.5/10

Very solid review, first off. I have seen you getting into reviews here recently and I think that you on the track of the Game Reviewer badge!

I loved playing through this game and I had a lot of fun with how in depth this game's story brought me into it. This game was one of the best games that I have played in a while and I actually cried the manliest man tears ever for B.J.
