Synopsis
With FarSky, you take the role of Nathan who got lost in the Ocean after the crash of his submarine. You need to learn how to survive in the depths of the Ocean.Use the environment to gather resources, build a base to refill your oxygen and manage all your items, craft equipment and weapons to explore and protect yourself in the Ocean depths, create an in-base farm or go fish hunting to feed yourself,...

Plot
As Nathan is roaming the seas in his submarine, the alarm inside the submarine starts blaring indicating the submarine is sinking and inoperable. Nathan then braces himself for impact upon the seafloor and crashes. After a while, Nathan wakes up from his slumber and slowly regains himself and notices his submarine had broke into multiple pieces and must find a way back to the surface.

Gameplay
This game has a fun and unique style of playing that I really enjoyed. First off, players will enter this underwater base that players can take shelter and use the base to build multiple types of items and plant their own food. The main priority of the game is to find and collect all the pieces to the submarine so the player can escape from under the ocean. Players will be able to collect different types of minerals that can be extracted from the floor of the ocean. With these minerals and elements, players can build weapons and extractors to extract minerals for them while players continue to forage the ocean floor. Players can also upgrade their suit to stay under water for a longer period of time, increase damage resistance against sea predators, and other special attributes. The minerals players will easily find will be copper, coal, and sand. As players progress deeper into the ocean, players will find rarer minerals and elements that could be used for better equipment like silver, gold, and manganese. Players can also build mini workshops to purchase items and upgrades like spears, spear guns, ladders, and extractors. Players can also build a cooker to cook up the vegetables they collected to replenish their hunger as the player's character gets hungry and will die if not fed. Also a mini furniture can be built to make some flower pots, small and large chest. Players can also hunt fish and other aquatic species for food but when collect, the blood will attract sea predators that will attack the player. Even if the player is in close proximity, sea predators will probably attack them so its best to stay away from those predators. Some sea creatures players will see are sharks, rays, small fish, jellyfish, angler fish, whales, and even krackens that protect the most rare minerals that will attack when players stray too close. Players will also find hidden chests lying around the sea floor that withhold random materials for players to use.

Graphics
The graphics in this game were really impressive. The underwater scenery was extraordinary in the way the layout of the whole theme was set. In almost every corner of the map, there was sea life everywhere, foraging as they would in the wild. The details on the many sea creatures were nicely textured and really featured that look of the actual sea creature itself. The underwater plants would move freely in the direction of the current was traveling in. Players could see these white specks that really looked like grains of sand floating everywhere the player would go. A cool feature was the suns rays glowing on the sea floor as the silhouette of the suns rays gave it that wavy-like appearance to it. The wide array of sea plants was really vast which players could see a variety of different plants that surrounded them.

Controls
For me, i found the controls to be quite easy to get used to but just the layout of certain functions were difficult. The basic controls for movement were pretty much the same as with many other games. The ascend and descend controls were unique and very unusual for me to use personally. For one, my fingers were placed in a unusual position that I never really had to for any other PC game I played in the past. Just having to switch fingers to the different controls to function the game properly was really the most difficult part to get the hang of. The interaction button was also the same with some other games on the PC. Players could also have the mouse movements inverted depending on the player's preference, as well as the sensitivity.

Ratings
Gameplay: 9.1/10
Graphics: 9.6/10
Controls: 8.8/10
Overall: 9.2/10
