Synopsis
Killzone Shadow Fall is the latest installment in the hugely successful Killzone franchise developed exclusively for the PlayStation4 system, by Guerrilla Games. Thirty years after the events of Killzone3, the world is a very different place with two rival factions, the Helghast and the Vektans, living side by side in a futuristic city divided by a vast wall. In the midst of all the tension stands a Shadow Marshal, the best of the best, tasked with one mandate above all else: preserve the peace, no matter the cost.

Gameplay
This game, like many of the other Killzone games within the series is seen from the original First Person Perspective making it a first person shooter. Also, this game is also set in the future which makes it not only an FPS, but also a science fiction shooter like all the other Killzone games within the series. Quite a few of the weapons from the previous Killzone games also make a return in this game, as well as some new weapons and equipment as well! One of the more notable weapons/gadgets is the O.W.L. and it makes zip-lines for the player as well as can hack and fight in combat scenarios as well. Much like other games in the Killzone series, this game is all about war and is still set some time into the future as mentioned above. In this game within the Killzone series they focus more on stealth than they did in previous Killzone games, and for, that is a huge plus. This game still features a mostly linear level/mission design and what I mean by that is that fact that the player can either make the choice to go in stealthy, or go in guns blazing, metaphorically anyways. Overall, this is still a Killzone game that older, loyal fans. will still enjoy as well as drawing in some new fans to this already great series of games.

Plot
This game, like many other games within the Killzone series is set pretty far into the future, this time around it being the year 2367. With the previous game's "The Wall" being built, the plot of this game revolves around a man named Micheal and his son must journey to the wall to try and sneak through it to go to the other side of the wall alive and un-scaved. Along the way Micheal and his son meet a shadow marshal that helps them to cross the wall and make it there quietly, but, a wandering soldier spots them and ends up killing Micheal. After this happens, the shadow marshal shows his true colors and uses field knowledge and stealth to take care of the rest of the soldiers and keep himself and Micheal's son safe and alive. The shadow marshal then promises that he will take care of him since his father is now dead where the player then gets to sit back and watch a somewhat short cut-scene where Lucas, Micheal's son grows through the ranks of the shadow marshal academy, where he in the end becomes a full shadow marshal himself. It is also kind of interesting to note that once Lucas has become a full-fledged shadow marshal, he then takes orders from his commanding officer, Sinclair the shadow marshal that saved his life when he was just a boy. The plot of this game is something special and makes for not only a really interesting and cool expierence, but also a truly emotionally bonding experience between the player and the game's plot itself.

Story
The story to this game is that of most Killzone games in the fact that the game makes for a very fun and interesting gaming experience by not only mixing first person shooting games, but also putting the game fairly far into the future and therefore making for a quite different experience that most games give. The game is fun from the very beginning, to the very end. And fairly quickly into the game you get dropped into the mix of war and the dirty side effects that go along with it and with that the story is bonded to the player emotionally fairly quickly. I feel that if this isn't the best Killzone game, it is one of the best and it is MY favorite within the series. This game makes for a truly fun gaming experience and I would for sure recommend this game to most anyone that enjoys this series of games or is looking for something new and fun to add into their gaming life. Lastly, I feel that this game within the series of many other Killzone games, has one of the better story-lines if not the best within the large amount of Killzone games there have been.

Graphics
The graphics. I truly don't know how to put the graphics of this game into words. The graphics of this game are more beautiful than they have ever been because of the next gen consoles being able to run higher end graphics and therefore the graphics team of this game did wonders to this game graphically. The scenes of war in this game show the true light of war in the fact that homes are destroyed, people are dead, and soldiers are beaten and scared. Also, the small bits of green grass that you find within this game are a great way to set the mood from all the destruction, charred planet, and war struck world. Lastly, the characters, weapons, vehicles, etc within this game all look great and look as if they have been through a war. What I mean by that is the fact that they all look somewhat beaten, burned, scared, etc The graphics department of this game did this game some wonders graphically compared to other games within the series, and they should feel highly accomplished of what the end result of this game truly was.

Controls
The controls to this game are that of most other Killzone games. They didn't change the controls much from previous Killzone games as there wasn't really anything wrong with the controls before-hand. Also, I feel that the sensitivity of this game is a little low for most average players and therefore I turned my sensitivity up and feel that most other users and players of this game will also follow in the same footsteps and turn it up. The controls are simple to learn if you haven't played other Killzone games or FPS games for that matter. There are in game tutorials of how to use things and it easily teaches players how to use the controls to traverse the war stuck world of Killzone. Last but not least, I never switch the controller layout from the default play style/button layout, but should you want to within this game there are many different layouts to choose from.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer to this game has two modes to choose from/play on. The first is the most common of today's shooter games, competitive multiplayer. There are common game modes like Killzone's variants of TDM, CTF, DOMINATION, ETC However, there is also another form of multiplayer that players can experience within this game, that being 4 player co-op campaign! I feel that the four player co-op of this game is what really makes this game fun in the fact that you and three friends can get on and play though the whole game and experience it together. It makes for a truly fun experience added to this game, and I feel that most everyone will at least love one of these options of multiplayer! Lastly, I feel that co-op is the best way to play this game that way you and a couple of friends all get to have fun together!

Personal Note: This game was my favorite game within the Killzone series of games and therefore it is the one that I had the most fun playing through. This game is a lot of fun, has a great storyline, and makes for a wonderful time if you love Killzone or any futuristic FPS for that matter. All that being said, I feel that I would recommend this game to most anyone and that most anyone would enjoy this game. Well worth a purchase!

I was kinda disappointed with the ending this game had after I finished, It left me with a bunch of question and empty answer, but Guerilla has their way of making us wait and assume what the next game would be like, So overall I think the game is alright, Good review by the way, Very detailed.
