Synopsis
Neo-Paris. 2084. Personal memories can now be digitized, bought, sold and traded. The last remnants of privacy and intimacy have been swept away in what appears to be a logical progression of the explosive growth of social networks at the beginning of the 21st century. The citizens themselves have accepted this surveillance society in exchange for the comfort only smart technology can provide. This memory economy gives immense power over society to just a handful of people. Remember Me is a 3rd person action adventure where players take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people's minds and steal or even alter their memories. The authorities, fearful of her knowledge and capabilities have arrested Nilin and wiped her memory clean. After her escape from prison, Nilin sets out on a mission to recover her identity, helped by her last and only friend. This search for her past leads to her being hunted by the very people that created this surveillance society. During the course of the story, Nilin will start remembering who she was and re-learning all the fighting moves that made her one of the world's leading memory hunters.

Gameplay
This game allows players to manipulate and control what others think. This game implements a lot of features like platforming so you can climb and hardcore parkour your way to your next objectives. Exploration is a key factor in this game cause of the world you are put in, players also have the ability to create there own combos that do separate things based if you press the right button. What you use to create these combos are what the game calls "pressens" and you pair these pressens up to make the combos that allow you to regenerate health faster, or do more damage as well as build up points to execute super abilities. You can slow time in combat to achieve higher hit counts against enemies or stun multiple targets at once. Traversing in this game is what I would compare to assassins creed, which I happen to enjoy.

Plot
In this game the player controls the character, Nilian an terrorist that has been captured and left there to let the corporation Memorize wipe her memory. When the deed is almost complete a man named Edge helps her escape from her memory wipe. Nilian was given the news that she posses the ability to modify and steal the memories of others. After she escapes she travels to the slums where she meets another member of the terrorists ran by Edge. Nilian is then attacked by the bounty hunter, Olga Sedova. As soon as the opportunity presents itself Nilan plunges into Olga's memories and changes her memories so she then becomes a powerful ally. Nilian is then given a ride by Olga to her destination, the Saint-Michel district. She therefore must continue to regain her memories and infiltrate the Memorize corporation and figure out what needs to be done by any means necessary.

Story
I enjoyed the story to this game as I enjoy the future aspect of the game as well as the general premise of being able to take and change people's memories. This game put on a good performance towards the beginning of the game and got confusing as it was reaching it's ending. I personally like how things were tied together and put you in the perspective of think what I would call a really interesting character and a fascinating background. You feel like you are being watched at points in the game and that provides a sort of suspense. I would have liked to see more done with the story at the end. It throws in a lot of twists and begins getting hard to follow.

Graphics
The graphics in this game are visually stunning, I love the art style of this game. There are parts of the game where you feel like you are going through these slums, you can see graffiti and wild neon signs and bystanders that make the area believable. The city of Neo-Paris is an astounding place, the richer parts of the city are cleaner and are brighter and have more technology. Being able to climb through this city gives you moments to catch perfect views like being able to see a futuristic Eiffel Tower and stare at vast skyscrapers. The art in this game might be one of my favorites just because it's so believable and beautiful.

Controls
The controls for this game are in a good original setup, the controls that are given to you work really well with how you would approach stuff. Being able to control what combos you use is a really nice thing to add cause it allows you to use the controls and be as comfortable as you wish. This game's controls are comparable to the Batman games when you are in combat as well as assassins creed when you traverse buildings and avoid harmful situations. I would like to think that this was the main idea for this game as it all works and really well.

Ratings
Gameplay - 8/10

Story - 7.5/10
Controls - 8/10

Personal Note: I personally wish that this game could have been more popular than is was because, It would have been really nice to see this game improved on story wise so its not so confusing. That being said I did enjoy this game and would recommend it to people who care about a specific art-style cause this game was beautiful.
