Gameplay
The gameplay of this game follows that of other game's in this series, and other games by Humongous Entertainment. Humongous Entertainment is known for their children friendly learning games and that is exactly what this game is all about. The game takes place with you, the player, taking control of Pajama Sam, who happens to be scared of thunderstorms. Pajama Sam takes a tour up into his attic and further up into the clouds where he actually gets to literally face his fears and meet Thunder and Lightning. He finds out that Thunder and Lightning are just doing their job and really are nice people! You get to play through Sam's fears of Thunder and Lightning as a small child who is still wearing his pajamas and his famous red cape! The game makes for a great learning experience for anyone, but especially for the younger children that learn and play using this game as a basis to do so. Last but not least, is the fact that you experience this game in third person!

Plot
The plot of this game released by Humongous Entertainment is that of most of their games. It is a learning game that is cartoon in form, and has key learning mechanics that are oh so important to building a young child's mind. They keep the plot to their game's simple as the majority of players of their game's are exactly what their intended audience was, little children. The plot to this game is through a fear of Sam's. Sam is afraid of Thunder and Lightning and goes into the attic and on up further into the clouds and the World Wide Weather HQ aka (WWW) Sam later faces his fears by meeting Thunder and Lightning personally, and figuring out that they are not scary and that they are only doing their jobs! Along the way of facing his fears and overcoming being scared, Sam messes up the weather by knocking parts loose in which he has to go and fix! Also, there are some random collectible puzzle pieces throughout the game that if collected entirely, forms a pretty funny puzzle!

Story
The story to this game is amazing to say the least. This was my favorite series within the large amount of games produced and released by Humongous Entertainment. I only owned two of the Pajama Sam games, but out of the two, this one was my favorite! The story is great for younger children as it teaches them a lot of things that are key components in building a child's brain and making it in such a way that they see as fun rather than learning. I remember spending literally hours upon hours playing through this game over and over again. I continually kept learning while I played through this game as a young child, without ever getting bored of the game. The game's story is great, and will make your little one, or one of your younger siblings absolutely fall in love with the gaming world as well as learning quite a bit from the game! All in all, I feel that this game is great, and out of all the games that Humongous Entertainment makes, this is my favorite game/series.

Graphics
The graphics within this game look great for the time it was released. They make Sam, his house, his clothes, his mom, and the world that you play in all look somewhat believable and somewhat realistic. The game looks great even for a game that was made basically solely for children. When I played through this game as a child, I never saw anything wrong with the game graphically. However, now, looking back at the game the graphics seem just a tad lesser in the fact that some portions of the game are a little less detailed than others, sometimes shadows glitch out and go away, and sometimes Pajama Sam will freeze his mouth while in a talking cut-scene/scenario. However, all of that being said, I feel the game is still great graphically, and even though I feel the designers could have made the game look better, I still feel that they did a good job and deserve at least a little credit in that sense.

Controls
The controls to this game are that of most games Humongous Entertainment. They are quite simple as well as easy to use so that children don't have a hard time playing or learning the controls. There are endless possibilities with the controls on this game as it is on the PC and therefore can use macros and what not. Also, this game can be played by mouse clicks, a controller, or a joystick! The controls to this game also have hints and what not along the way in game so that if children do have a hard time with the controls, the game will help and tell them what they are doing wrong or how to fix the problem at hand which also helps them learn how to take directions and what not and learn from that. Overall, the controls of this game and any other game that Humongous Entertainment makes, are quite solid and I have no complaints or issues with the controls.

Ratings
Gameplay - 8/10
Plot - 8/10
Story - 8/10
Controls - 8/10
Graphics - 8/10
Overall - 9.5/10

Personal Note: This game is my favorite game/series of games that Humongous Entertainment makes. I spent so much time with this game/series of games that I still remember a lot from playing this game as a small child. These games, and this one especially are great for little kids as it builds a lot in the brain department. Therefore, I recommend this game to anyone, and especially if you have some little children around!
