Synopsis
Can you infect the world? Plague Inc. is a unique mix of high strategy and terrifyingly realistic simulation.

Your pathogen has just infected 'Patient Zero'. Now you must bring about the end of human history by evolving a deadly, global Plague whilst adapting against everything humanity can do to defend itself.

Gameplay
Plague, Inc. offers a unique and addicting gameplay experience. You have twelve different viruses/plagues to choose from. These include Bacteria, Prion, Fungus, Virus, Bio Weapon, Neurax Worm, Necroa Virus, and Parasite. After you choose your plague, you have three difficulties to choose from. To unlock plagues, you must destroy the world with the previous one on Normal or Brutal difficulty. Into the Gameplay... Once you are inside the game you must pick a country on the world map to start your plague in. Your plague can spread on planes, boats, birds, insects, or even blood. The process of infection has begun, and you have to evolve your plague. You can have an under the radar plague, where you infect everyone then kill. Another route is to get as many Symptoms evolved as possible to destroy the world fast. A downside to this is the world will try harder and harder to cure you, thus making you lose the game. The ability to have different play styles is my favorite part of the game.

Graphics
Plague, Inc. has fantastic graphics for an iOS/Android game. The main menu/virus selection interface is clean and easy to follow. When you are in-game you come across a world map, the water, clouds, and islands/countries have great textures. It almost makes me feel bad to cover them with the red dots signaling infected people. The developers still made the outlines of the countries clear even if it was covered in red, and that freed up a lot of clutter. The screen for plague information is well designed with hexagonal buttons to click for evolving your virus/seeing daily infections or deaths. I loved the color style of this game, all of the red never bothered me, but immersed me into the apocalyptic world.

Controls
The controls in Plague, Inc. are very simple, but they are efficient. The Main Menu is easy to navigate, and the "How To Play" section teaches you the basics. This game has only one control. That control is moving your finger and clicking the screen. This is not necessarily a bad thing, because it allows for newer players and younger audiences to learn the game fast. One click can start an infection, evolve your petty virus to be a deadly plague, or devolve it to make it less menacing, and I really liked that aspect. The easy controls are one of the factors that make this game great.
