Game Information
Release Date: March 26, 2014
Developers: Crytek
Publishers: Microsoft
Platforms: Xbox 360, PC
Genre: First Person Shooter
Players: 1, Multiplayer 4-16

Synopsis
Engage in explosive action with this exhilarating free-to-play FPS from Crytek, keeping you on your toes with daily new missions. Master four soldier classes as you team up to complete daring Co-op raids or dominate Versus modes. Join the battle with unique assault moves and real-time weapon customization.

Gameplay
Warface offers a similar style to what the Battlefield Series possesses. Players will be able to use four different classes: Rifleman, Medic, Engineer, and Sniper. Like Battlefield, each class possesses a specific role, each unique to each class. Each class possesses a wide array of weapon in which some guns are more superior than others in certain aspects. Players can unlock new weapons by earning cash after finishing a match. Players can also purchase coins, boosters, and "kredits" to purchase weapons faster than just earning the required cash to unlock. Players can unlock weapon attachments, body armor, and other types of equipment by going to the vendor and completing the set requirements for the vendor of their choosing. If players want to earn extra cash, they can do so by selecting a contract that rewards them with a substantial amount of cash after completing the set requirements. Upon unlocking a new class, the player must complete the class tutorial in order to use the class online. Some weapons in each class can't be purchased with cash but only with kredits. Players can also customize their soldier and equipment to enhance them against their opponents. Warface offers four different game types to play from: Team Deathmatch, Plant The Bomb, Free For Fall, and Storm, similar to domination. Apart from the versus multiplayer, Warface offers co-op missions in which up to four players can work as a team and complete the objectives. Co-op offers numerous mission objectives for players to complete and adds variety in terms of difficulty.

Graphics
For the most part, the graphics in Warface are great and nicely textured. The details on the weapons are remarkable and posses that look of realism to them. Each map is filled with fantastic views of different buildings, composed from different materials. The overlook of each map are well created and appealing to the viewer's eye. The explosions along with the flashes from firing the weapons gives that realistic feature that would appeal to the player. The structures laid out among the maps are well textured and the lettering on various buildings are clear to read as well. The faces among the types of soldiers aren't the best to look at as they look a bit worn out or scruffy. Overall, the graphics are great, especially in the beta stage of development, but does need some more work done to it to make the graphics more superior than what it already possesses.

Controls
The controls for Warface are pretty similar to most first person shooter games. The only control that players will find unique to the game is the power slide, which players need to hold down the sprint button then press the crouch button after in order to perform it. Apart from that, the controls aren't anymore different than the other counterparts of the same genre so with that being said, players that are used to playing first person shooter games shouldn't find any difficulty in the controls of the game. For players that are coming from either the COD or Battlefield series shall experience a much different field in the controls due to the sensitivity being unlike those particular games and could posses some difficulty for them.

Rating
Gameplay: 8.7/10
Graphics: 9.0/10
Controls: 9.4/10
Overall: 8.9/10
