Game Information

Developers: Melesta
Publishers: Melesta
Platforms: Microsoft Windows, Windows 8, Android, iPhone
Genre: Strategy
Players: 1

Synopsis
Test your courage and skills as a military leader at the height of World War I in Toy Defense, an exciting Tower Defense game! Dont let enemies get to your base! Help toy soldiers survive through attacks, protect your base from enemy airplanes, tanks, airships and overcome unexpected traps with the help of different kinds of weapons. Earn stars, strengthen your towers, improve soldiers and buy upgrades. Victory is in your hands!

Gameplay
This game will require players to strategize on where to place their military forces in order to to prevent enemy troops from destroying their base. Players will deploy soldiers anywhere on the map where there is a circle. These circles indicates the player that they can place any troop forces on it. Players will cash after killing any sort of enemy forces they encounter. The more difficult the enemy is, the more you will earn for destroying it. As the player's troops progress, they will be able to rank up their troop soldiers to increase their overall capabilities. These upgrades will make them shoot faster and deal more damage. Players will also have to maintain their troops since they can be injured during the course of the battle. Some soldiers will be losing health and in order to regain their health, players will have to click on the icon while hovering over them. Players will be notified of what type of enemy is in bound to give players to strategically place their forces around the parameter. AT the end of each level, players will be awarded stars that can be used to purchase upgrades for any type of deployable forces. These upgrades will increase their durability, speed, damage, and other sorts of abilities each type possesses. A cool feature about this game is that players can pause, and fast forward the game as they desire to.

Graphics
The graphics aren't too much of a spectacular scenery since players will be looking at a map most of the time with minimal designs. The textures upon the field are well done, as well as the clarity of the game is fantastic. The designs of the old vehicles and planes are well created and resembles those of what old fashioned vehicles looked like in that era. The playing field is nice colored with the minor details so nothing becomes vague in the design. The troops, tanks, cannons, and other deployable vehicles have very little designs to them as you can really see any good details on the soldiers or vehicles. Overall, the game itself is quite entertaining but lacks sufficient graphics to appeal certain players.

Controls
The main control for players to use is the mouse. Players will have to click on any icon and hold down the mouse button to drag it to their destination. Players can also at any time click on the pause or fast forward buttons for any purposes. If players need to upgrade or heal their soldiers, they just need to hover over them and click the indicated icon above the soldier. Overall. the controls are of no difficulty for basically any player to understand and use since there is really one control to perform.

Great review Brigand!

I love tower defence games (I actually reviewed Bloons TD 4), so I will definitely be checking this out for my iPhone as it looks really good.
