Synopsis
Grand Slam Tennis 2 is a tennis video game, developed by EA Canada, it was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 10, 2012 in Europe and February 14, 2012 in North America. A downloadable demo was released on January 10 for both platforms. It is the sequel to Grand Slam Tennis.

Gameplay
The gameplay on this game is very good. This game has a new implementation of a system called total racquet control which gives players the ability to control with even greater precision that before the shot direction, accuracy and power. This game has 4 of the grand slams with the main attraction being of course; Wimbledon. The main mode to play is called career and you create a tennis player and start from the bottom entering lower tournaments and you build your rep and try to rise through the ranks to become a tennis great. The tennis gameplay feels smooth and very nice especially with the new racquet control. There is also a classic mode where you can take control and play through classic moments that happened in grand slam tournaments in real life. There is many different courts and players to use so the good variety will keep you interested and coming back for a while. The gameplay to this game is very good and any tennis fan will love it.

Multiplayer
This game is very basic online wise it is just simple head to head matches, whilst these matches are very good and playing against real life friends and strangers online is good I just wish that they had added more modes (a Wimbledon tournament mode would be excellent for online/co-op). Saying that the core gameplay online is fantastic and you can have lots of fun playing with your friends in all different kinds of matches. There is a lot of different players, courts and settings you can tweak with when you are going to play online so this variety means you won't get bored too easily when playing. I had lots of fun playing multiplayer both locally and online. You can spend hours without even realising just playing against your friends as when the competion gets high and the gameplay is good it is really fun. It works best when you are playing against people of a similar skill range as the matches are then very close and tense. I didn't experience any lag when playing.

Graphics
The graphics are good, the players and courts look good but they could definitely do some work to improve the crowd and the overall setting. The colours are very nice and there is a lot of detail where it matters. The players look very good and the different types of court look excellent. The action replays are very good and the close up shots of the game really work well. The background (sky) looks really nice and sets a nice tone when you are playing. The in game menus also look really good. I will attach some screenshots below.
