Synopsis
Fuse is a four-player cooperative action video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game was announced as Overstrike before it was rebranded in August 2012. It was released on May 28, 2013 in North America, May 30, 2013 in Australia and on May 31, 2013 in Europe. The demo for the game was released on May 8, 2013.

Gameplay
Fuse is a 3rd person shooter. You consist of a team of players each with their own unique weapon with special capability. For example a shield that can both absorb and then deflect bullets. This type of cool weaponry is what makes fuse a fun game to play. The levels are really well designed and the use of co-operative gameplay is the key to success on the different levels in fuse. The different levels and tasks that you are set throughout the game make it vibrant and interesting and you never really get too bored of the game. The gunplay and cover mechanics are also very good, similar to gears of war in many ways it makes the combat really fun to play and you will find yourself wanting to play more and more because you will be having fun. There is numerous weapons to choose from each with its own pros and cons, this makes playing the game varied and interesting. Overall the gameplay is really good and I'd recommend it.

Story
The story revolves around a alien technology an energy source that can be used in the production of super weapons. Your team is to find and retrieve this energy source. The story whilst not amazing is very good. The characters are a little bit cliche but it actually works in favour in terms of this games story. The story is quite linear but I found that it didn't make much different as you become wrapped up in the search for fuse and the character progression as the game develops. The story in this game is good so I'd definitely recommend it, I just would like for it to have had a little more focus at times, but overall it is solid, the ending is also fantastic and is a complete surprise which is really nice to see.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer is where this game really shines, the team you play of consists of 4 players, this translates to 4 player co-op mode that is honestly the best way to experience the game, each character has his own unique weapon that can be used in multiple ways tactically speaking and the use of teamwork to progress through the game is superb. You work together to get through the game and earn fuse points to purchase unlocks., this keeps you coming back for more. The game also has a horde mode which is similar to gears of war in which you have to fend of waves of enemies. This is a fun mode and provides a welcome variety in the gameplay. Multiplayer is superb.

Graphics
The graphics on this game are good but not amazing. The environments are detailed and varied and the weapons look superb but often the textures do not look as good as I hoped they would but there is no issues with rendering. The colours are vibrant and look really good. The lighting and shadows on this game are good and really help build up the good environments that this game has. What is most impressive is that there is a lot of detail in places where you would not expect it which makes this game good graphically wise. There are a few improvements though they could make which stops it from being a 10/10. The characters are pretty good and have a nice level of detail on them. I will upload some screenshots below in the spoilers so you can check them out.

CONTROLS
The controls are very good on this game. they feel responsive and easy to use, there is a number of options available to choose from if you are not happy with the defaults (which are very good and I see no reason to change) but the option is there should you want it. They are very similar to other FPS's and the button layout is very good so you will feel at home here with these controls. You can aim and move your character very easily with no difficulty at all. Even if you haven't played many FPS games before you will adapt quite easily as they are good controls. No problems here.
