Synopsis
You thought you'd defeated the evil wizard once and for all. You were certain you'd closed the doorway to his dimension forever. But somehow, he's returned! Now it's time to summon the Magic Ball again, to undo the wretched sorcerer's spells. Return the items he has stolen to their rightful places in the universe. Break free from his spells in Smash Frenzy 3!

Gameplay
For players that are a fan of this game are really going to enjoy the third installment
of this game. Players will once again wreck their way through 80+ custom themed levels by using a ball that destroys anything on the level, which are divided into 4 different themes. The 4 themes are the Knights, Witches, Cowboys, and a Pirates theme. In each theme, the construction of each level is custom to each theme. The levels in each theme will get more difficult since on some levels, the player will be required to have their ball travel through a teleporter in order to destroy the blocks that are entrapped in a certain location of the map which can't be entered or be impervious to damage without having to hit a TNT crate to destroy the so-called impervious wall. Players will notice that the weapons have had a revamp to them, but nothing too drastic, just minor color changes. The game has also introduced some new items for players to use. A few new power-ups are a heart, which gives a player an extra life, while a skull with cross bones will instantly kill the player. The Wall power-up will act as an extra barrier in case the player misses in attempt to hit the ball back into the playing field. Players can also change the time of the game by collecting the moon power-up which basically makes the screen appear to be dimmer as if it was night time for a short period of time. A new thing when stacking power-ups on the ball is that you can only have 1 power-up activated as when a new power-up is collected, the previous one will be replaced by the one that the player just picked up which kinda is a disadvantage since it was easier and faster to complete a level.

Graphics
Compared from the second installment, the graphics look increasingly better in textures and overall clarity. Just like the previous installment, the game runs real smoothly and experiences minimal lag and other inconsistencies within the game. The levels are really detailed in terms of how the custom buildings, characters, animals, and the ground floors look. Players can see upon castles and certain buildings that are made up of bricks and see each brick along with each line indicating each separate brick and wooden plank upon boats, rafts, and other wooden objects. Some of the animals in the game look great in terms of representation but also have a cartoon look to it as well which fits perfectly for the type of game it is. Unlike the second installment with having the background just having a vague color, the background in this game has more of a detailed look to it in terms of many line designs, swirls, stars, clouds, a tone of color indicating the time of the day, and other various unique designs which give the game a more appealing look to it. Overall, the graphics look a lot better than the second installment did.

Controls
The controls for this game are exactly like previous installments of the game series. The player will just have to control the mouse and swipe it either left or right. While playing on the laptop, the laptop's mouse continues to have the stuck problem just like the previous installments in the series which causes players to sometimes lose a life since they are immobilized due to the mouse not responding to the movement of the finger. Other than that, the controls are nothing too new to the players, even for new players that never played the game before. Overall, the controls are no trouble unless the user is playing it on the laptop.

Rating
