Synopsis
The stunning and captivating gameplay of Magic Ball 2 returns. An amazing companion to a classic hit, Magic Ball 2 New Worlds features all new 3D designs for you to smash up brick by brick, plus power-ups, weapons, and animated characters. The fun literally explodes off the screen.

Gameplay
The main purpose of this game is to destroy every piece of material on the map with the power ball the players starts with. The ball will then hit the material causing it to break and disintegrate, while some others will have to be hit multiple times to be destroyed. The ball will have to be bounced back into the play area or the player's bat will be destroyed and lose a life. The player will 3 lives to begin with but gains an extra life after reaching a certain amount of points. Player will get to play in 200 different custom created worlds to destroy. Multiple worlds feature animated characters such as Santa Clause, and various animals that fit in with the type of world the animals are in. There are also a unique set of items the player can pick that can either give the player an advantage or disadvantage. These items can decrease or increase the size of the bat, make the ball go through materials instead of rebounding off after making contact, decrease or increase the ball speed, alter the effect on the ball, and much more. This game is an absolute blast and really makes players want to continue to play through the hundreds of different custom themed worlds due to the game's unique style.

Graphics
The graphics are superb for a game that came out about a decade ago. The game runs real smoothly with the graphics so there really isn't any lag and disfiguration on the world whatsoever due to the gameplay. The animated characters in multiple worlds in the game are well created and have great textures that make them look like the real animal and character itself. The worlds look amazing and have the right colors that represent the forms of what they are supposed to be. The backgrounds in the game really don't cause too much attention to draw the player's eyes as the background really is just a different color for the most part but will have a design to it. Some of the background colors are vague as well so they aren't nothing too phenomenal.

Controls
The only control players will need to use is the use of their mouse and that is it. Compared to using a mouse on a PC than a laptop, the player may find the control easier to use on the PC since the mouse is sensitive and reliable to the movement of the mouse. The laptop mouse sensor is a bit more difficult since the player's finger on the mouse sensor can sometimes not be registering during the game which could cause the player to lose by missing the ball. So, for a better and less difficult playthrough of the game, its best to play the game with a wired/wireless mouse rather than use a laptop's inbuilt mouse since it causes problems with players sometime during the game.

I played this game a while back and it was really addicting.
A good game if you have nothing better to do.
Another great review Brigand.
