Players take Crypto on a journey of Enlightenment and Destruction as he gains new powers from an alien Kung Fu Master in order to take on his most difficult enemy yethis own kind. Path of the Furon redefines the series for next-genincreasing the size, scale and scope of Crypto's arsenal of alien weaponry, mental abilities and destruction. Manipulate or destroy anything in the world, creating disaster movie inspired level of destruction and mayhem. Go anywhere at anytime via an open world mission structureExplore 5 open world environments without ever leaving the game world, or take on a variety of side missions and mini-games. Next-gen graphics, detailed destruction, new weapons, new mental abilities, expanded UFO capabilities, customized upgrades and co-op and competitive multiplayer gameplay.

Plot
After a clone of Cryptosporidium crashed a UFO into a casino, Another clone of Cryptosporidium took over the casino and opened it doors to the public to gain wealth and steal DNA from unsuspecting humans. After a while, Crypto is intercepted by these aliens that were thought to be extinct since neither Crypto or Pox had never seen one before. These Nexosporidiums were starting to cause havoc at Crypto's Casino, the Space Dust Casino. Aware of that his true identity would be unveiled, Crypto then took his saucer and eliminated any Nexpspordidiums and was then told by Pox to destroy any traces of evidence that could possibly reveal them, which was to destroy most of the city including the casino and all the money and DNA withheld in it. Pox then tell Crypto that they need to know the source of the Nexosporidiums and exterminate them from ever reappearing again, and as well as collect more human DNA.

Gameplay
Path of the Furon offers many different things to do throughout the player's duration of the game. Just like the previous installments of Destroy All Humans!, players will get to exterminate thousands of humans in various ways for their pleasure or to harvest their DNA which will allow players to purchase upgrades for their weapons, saucer, and Crypto. For players that played previous installments will notice a few differences that are featured in Path of the Furon. To start off with, many weapons have had a redesigned on them, as well as the saucer. The weapon Ion Detonator can now stick to surfaces and people once contact has been made. When the player uses the weapons from the saucer, the destruction caused by the weaponry will stay there until the player starts up another mission or leaves to a different city in the game. Path of the Furon offers a few mini-games that players will play during a certain mission which are in fact quite amusing when the player first tries the mini-games out and thinks that their score is sufficient enough for them and try them again. Unlike in the second installment, there is no co-op campaign feature in Path of the Furon but there is a multiplayer feature in which 2 players play mini-games that must compete against each other in order to win. A new feature players will notice is when operating the saucer, the abducted humans will recharge te saucer's shields and gain the DNA form them. Players will play through 30+ different missions as well as having side quests to complete to gain extra DNA to spend.

Graphics
When transitioning to the newer consoles during its time, the graphics were substantially a lot better as well as the gameplay itself. The game possessed a much clearer and smooth quality unlike on the older consoles. The characters and civilian personas have a much better clearer quality and actually have a more fluency of their mouths when speaking. The buildings have been redesigned and have a much better texture and quality, with the various colors spread amongst the types of buildings throughout each location. They also have different designs for each location so each building looks totally different from each location the player plays through. The civilians are more diverse with the tone and style of them. The explosives and fires look more realistic than the previous installments of the series. The great changes of weather is a great add on to the game as it really reflects the amount of light given off by the sun's ray and casts shadows of the buildings and vehicles. Overall, the graphics and the background scenes of each location are superb and clearer than they were on the older consoles.

Controls
Although the game has made a transition to the newer consoles, the controls haven't really gone under much of a change since then. The movement controls for the player's character and saucer controls are really the same. But the change of weapons control is different. The fire weapon buttons are no different to any other shooting game. A few things that players that previously played the other installments of the series will notice that the abilities controls are swapped around but really shouldn't cause drastic difficulties for the player. If the player is new to the game series, they are gonna have to learn the various controls for both on foot and for the saucer. Overall, nothing too much of a change to the controls since the game is on the new consoles and are relatively the same to the previous systems.
