Synopsis
NASCAR 14 is a NASCAR video game. It is the third edition of the NASCAR The Game racing simulator series, and is the sequel to NASCAR The Game: Inside Line. Developed by Eutechnyx and published by Deep Silver, the game was released on February 18, 2014, for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Gameplay
The gameplay of this is really just a better running version of Nascar Inside Line. It has the pretty much the same gameplay and same functions as the game. This game is updated with the newest Nascar stats, considering the Daytona 500 was yesterday. This game gets your heart pumping when racing, seeing cars crash right in front of your eyes, head to head to see who is going to win and just all out speed. The game has may more places to race on, some of the most famous and some of the most random places you might of not heard of. Each race track has its own difference for distance, turns, and wideness of the track. The new features in this game are somewhat a difference but not to much. Most of them are for the campaign and one I think one is for multiplayer. The one for multiplayer is adding the server browser feature to the game. The player can browse games until he finds one he would like to join. The others for the campaign is DNFs, enhanced AI difficulty, and the option to hire staff in career mode. These are great additions to the game because it makes the game more challenging and interesting for the player. There is now a monthly DLC coming for the game and the Developers are committed to do it too. There is some new skins for your cars after you get sponsored and all. I really enjoyed this game and it was interesting overall, it was way better than the others.

Graphics
The graphics of this game considering its only on the xbox 360 is great. It has the standards for the xbox one graphics I would say but its not getting released for it now. They have made a huge impact on graphics on this game and im talking about absolutely everything. The cars look like they have been put a lot of time into them. They have sharp edges on the bumper or with special features added to it. The wheels actually look like there spinning around with a very dark shading to them, completely black. The ground or race track your racing on is way better than before, it used to be just a gray looking wall with white lines on it and now you can see burnt rubber on them and see an amazing texture to it. It looks all rocky and looks like the concrete out side would. The grass isnt highly detailed but it doesnt really matter considering your going super fast. There is some designs on the grass determining what track your playing on, it could be sponsors or a art for the stadium thing. The NPCs will try to ram you and hit you so you lose control or lose speed and lose the match. They are all close cornered and not giving up any position. There is a little motion blur to how fast your going and it goes perfect with it. I really enjoyed the graphics of this game that have improved a lot since the last games.

Controls
The controls havent changed since the first game if I remember right. It is still RT to use the gas, when letting go and holding it again it may make you go faster. Left Joystick is still to steer your car and this could be tricky a little. Its easy when on easy tracks but when your on a harder track with lots of turns you might need to drift your car and slow down on the gas a little bit. You might need to make a hard left or right depending on which way your going. Cars might try to ram you also so you might need to get control of your vehicle by turning it hard or just a little. Im not to positive on the drift button because I have never used it because of my steady driving skills but I think it is X. If your want to drift you can just tap it and it will drift a little but if you hold it you might spin out so dont keep it on there to much. I really enjoyed the controls of this game and there super easy and make the gameplay fun with easy controls. I see no improvements need to be made and they should keep it like this with future games.
