Synopsis
Angry Birds Star Wars is a puzzle video game, a crossover between the Star Wars franchise and the Angry Birds series of video games, launched on November 8, 2012, first for Windows, iOS and Android devices, later also to Mac and BlackBerry. The game is the fifth Angry Birds game in the series and was first revealed on the Angry Birds Facebook page. The characters are copyrighted from George Lucas's double-trilogy.[2] On July 18, 2013, Rovio announced that Angry Birds Star Wars will be heading for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS on October 29, 2013 in conjunction with Activision.[3] As of August 2013, the game has been downloaded over 100 million times on its various platforms.[4] The game is a launch title for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Gameplay
Angry Birds Star Wars gameplay follows the similar gameplay to the other games in the series. The game still features a sling shot to launch the birds to kill the evil pigs. The birds are all based on the Star Wars movie series. The characters are just like the movie has described them as like Yoda jumps all over the place which can easily kill all the pigs in one hit, other birds are like Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. They all have there own powers. Which leads me to another thing, the birds or characters your launching all have a power and they are different. One can use the force and move the towers, and another could use a light saber and chop things in half. It is so similar to the movie and it plays a good role on what they chose for each bird. You start out at Tatooine, Luke Skywalker's home planet, moves to the Death Star, travels to Hoth and keeps going a little more. That gives lots of fun, puzzle levels to play and they are all different. On the deathstar one there are these circles around the ships. These circles will either make your bird fly up or down depending on which way you launch your bird. I had an absolute blast playing this game and I also noticed that this one was a little more challenging than the other ones.

Graphics
The graphics of this game have been changed a slight bit from the other ones. In this one I actually saw no birds (unless the characters were birds) which was great. The characters looked as they would in the movie like Yoda had a wrinkly face and all and it looked just like that. The powers that each character has is really cool looking. Luke Skywalker will use the force and it will show something that looks like waves going out and pushing it back. Its not really detailed but it goes into slow motion when you do it, as well as all the other powers. The background of this game was easily told that the developers spent some time doing it. One map will be out and space with lots of stars and the next will be inside with all this machinery looking great. When hitting the wood with your bird or hitting medal of some sort it will look like it is getting weaker and weaker every time you hit it. I thought the graphics were great and it looked like they have improved isnce the other ones. One little difference in the game that the developers thought it would be bad, they actually took there time into the game and made them great.

Controls
There might not be much to say here but I will try my best. The games controls like most people know is the exact same as the other ones. This is a good idea since the game has so big of a fan base, if they were to change it, it could mess every one up. But the two controls of this game is selecting your bird, pulling the slingshot back and letting go to fire, and tapping the screen to activate all powers that the specific bird has. Yep those are all the controls, easy right well it makes it also quite easy for the player and gameplay. All of these take two seconds to learn and the player catches on right away. One thing about these controls that I didnt like is that when your just barely tapping the screen it might accidentally launch a bird and you might have to restart. It has happened to me multiple times and it gets annoying. I really think the controls are up to the standards of right now, if the gameplay gets more advanced then the controls will need to follow in the footsteps and do it also.
