Synopsis
Angry Birds Rio is the third puzzle video game in the Angry Birds series, developed by Rovio Entertainment. Based on the wildly successful Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio was released for devices using Apple's iOS, Google's Android and Mac OS X in March 2011.[1] The game was released as a marketing tie-in with the 20th Century Fox animated film Rio, and was promoted along with the movie.[2] While utilizing the same basic gameplay as the original game, Angry Birds Rio added a number of new elements, most notably the first use of boss levels. The game is consistently one of the top downloaded applications on both the App Store and the Play Store.

Gameplay
The gameplay of Angry Birds Rio is similar to most of the other games but in this one it includes new features.If your not familiar with the games the player uses a slingshot with a bird on it and launches one to hit pigs and kill them. Well in this game you arent hitting pigs you are trying to free the Rio birds or trying to kill the marmosets. In the game you are using the kind of the same birds as you would in the other games, but they all have different powers you could say. Like one can be a boomerang when you tap the screen when you want to use it. In specific levels the players are allowed to use Blu and Jewel from the movie to try and win the game, but that is only on certain levels of the game. This game is also the first Angry Bird game to include bosses in it. The very first boss is the mean guy from the movie named Nigel and his evil marmosets. The second boss is a guy named Mauro who is the leader of the marmosets and he is pretty hard to beat. But dont you worry they added a special character from the movie to the game that is an important roll; Luiz. If you dont know who Luiz is, it is a bull dog that looks like it will kill you or hurt you but it is a friendly dog. There are hidden items to collect throughout the levels but im not to positive on what there called. I really enjoyed this one because it was a new experience for me as a gamer playing this angry bird.

Graphics
I honestly think that this Angry Birds was the best graphic one that they have had so far. The one downside of this game is the graphics actually matter in able to play the game. It has an amazing feel to the graphics when your playing it. The birds look mean like and look like there determined to win or get something down. When you launch them they keep the same expression while spinning in circles. When the bird hits the boxes and doesnt break it the bird opens his eyes a little and the thing that you were trying to break looks cracked. When you do break lets say a box, it will look like it got shredded to pieces and parts of it will go flying or fall to the ground. The birds in the cage are all different colors yellow, green, and purple even. When you hit the cage the will all fly to your top left corner, and as there flying up there some of there feathers will slowly fall down. When you free the birds you will also get rewarded with points. When you get the points it will flash on your screen in a big text and go away. The background of this game also looks like it was put into a lot of detail. Fans are spinning around looking like its blowing some wind on you. Light is shining in the factory and has a shiny little glare to it.

Controls
Most of you probably already know the controls of this game since you have played other games like this one. Well as you know your birds are on slingshots and when they are on there you drag your finger on the slingshot. When your dragging your finger on it you can determine how far or short you wanna go based on the map. If the map is small try not pulling it as far back and you might beat it in one try. Also some birds might have some special powers to them. If a bird that your using has a special power and you want to use it at a certain point all you have to do is tap the screen and it will use the power. But be sure to memorize these powers on each bird because not every bird has the same power. If you mess up and want to try again, there is a little barracks button in the top left and if you click it and click the restart button it will restart it all for you. Overall the controls are simple to use and easy to get use to quickly.
