Synopsis:
Resogun is a visceral fast-paced shoot em' up developed exclusively for the PS4 system. Unleash a varied array of devastating weapons including lasers, missiles, overdrive, and nova-bombs to blast hordes of enemies and rescue the last survivors from distant galactic colonies that are under ruthless attack from an evil alien invasion force.

Plot:
There isn't really a plot in this game but the game is about you as a space ship flying around in 5 levels saving the last humans from alien forces that are trying to kill them. The levels are Acis, Ceres, Decima, Febris, and Mefitis.

Gameplay:
The gameplay in this game can be rather addicting in my opinion especially if you're one of those people who love to collect trophies. The game has 5 levels with 3 phases on each and it's own boss at the end of the level. You can also choose 3 space ships with there own advantages and disadvantages, the ships are called Nemesis, Ferox, and Phobos. You can collect various upgrades in this game to make you ship better and more reliable for the later levels. The main aim of the game is to finish the level by killing all of the aliens so saving the humans in the game although is an important role in the game it is only needed for score and the trophies you can collect on the Playstation. You can play by yourself in single player or play with a friend in co-op and they are also difficulties in the game which you can choose from which are rookie, experienced, veteran, and master.(you can only unlock master by completing the game in arcade mode on veteran by yourself)

Graphics:
The graphics in this game are beautiful for a indie game. The part I love in the game would be when you complete a level the boss explodes and lots of sparks and explosions go off while you in slow motion are flying through it all. Not only is that great the environment you are in looks great as well. The weapons what you use in the game are also really colorful and detailed which is a good point in the game. The aliens which you come up against as well are unique and all have their own sort of style which looks great as well.
The graphics in my opinion is the biggest and the most outstanding point in the game since everything like the plot and length of the game lacks quite a bit but the graphics is just on a different level to everything else in the game.

Controls:
The controls in the game are really simple since they are only like 3-4 buttons you need to use which are L1 to boost around the level and R1 to go into overdrive which is you superweapon and left analog stick to move around and there is also another button to activate a nuke to clear out all enemies on the screen which I think is R2. I suppose you could get confused about which buttons are for which like the L1, R1, and R2 buttons for example you could get confused about which button out of the 3 is the boost button and you could end up using the nuke by mistake.(happens to me quite a lot)

My Ratings:
Plot:3/10
Gameplay:6/10
Graphics:7.5/10
Controls:10/10
Overall:6.5/10
