Info:
Title: Estranged : Act 1
Developer: Alan Edwardes
Publisher: Alan Edwardes
Release Date: 16th January 2014

Synopsis:
Estranged tells the story of a lone fisherman, whose ship is stranded on a mysterious island during a violent storm. Explore the rich environments and meet the curious inhabitants of the island as you find a way back to the mainland.

Gameplay:
Okay so this game is a free to play game which is a plus to the game since the game doesn't really explain what to do where to go and you then find yourself doing loops and doing the same things; The game is very confusing but the story line gets better the more you progress through the game and other things, the atmosphere of the game is pretty intense and you can easily be scared if playing at night with a headset on, the game does give some good gameplay, but the registrations could be a bit better and the overall game could be more solid, with that aside the game does feature a good game that you can't really complain since its a free game to play. The music that plays is also pretty good; it has some tense music and creepy music, that gives the levels a dynamic eerie feel to the game, which is a bonus for a game that he tried to give the scary feeling, which I think he has half achieved. Although the game feels half finished you can get some fun from this game, and the more time you put into it the better. The level design is good and it's a half well built game.

Graphics:
The graphics in the game come from the Half life 2 engine, and even though they are not next gen graphics, the game has very stable fps and decent 3d models and textures which gives the game a good feel to it, the game has very cool dynamic lighting and different visuals that create a really cool and scary eerie feel to the game, up to now I haven't noticed any texture bugs or graphical bugs, the graphicsal side of the game feels very strong and is well built part of the game; and the game features quite allot of features to customize the graphics to make the game more beautiful or for smoother gameplay and to help not the best of pcs to be able to play it at respectful framerates.

Controls:
The controls of this game are very easy to get used to, the games controls come from the Half Life 2 engine and is very simple, easy and common;
since this game is an fps it follows most fps game control layouts, such as Counterstrike;
and you can also customize control settings too which is a bonus. The sensitivity feels a bit crude but you can always customize that
