Title: Gumboy Tournament
Developer: CINEMAX, s.r.o.
Publisher: CINEMAX, s.r.o.

Synopsis
Test your reflexes, judgment and tactics while facing up to eight other players in this follow-up to the critically acclaimed and popular arcade game Gumboy: Crazy Adventures, winner of numerous accolades including Gametunnel's GAME OF THE YEAR 2006.
Featuring the same graphically rich, fantasy style that made the original Gumboy so captivating, Gumboy Tournament adds new levels, bonuses, and four new multiplayer modes.

Gameplay
This isn't really what I'd call a game for hours worth of fun, more like a game that is to pass the time. It does get boring relatively fast but does get quite addictive. I played about 6 hours total on this game but only play it from time to time to pass some time that needs wasting. So for that, it's brilliant. But if you're looking for a game to provide hours of fun, look else where. It is a very user friendly game with a huge user interface, but games like this are mainly directed at younger gamers. This game does have a few hidden secrets if I'm honest, to spice up the game a little bit like your opponents can wipe the board in 1 go, now I know that doesn't sound like fun, but it makes you up your game a lot. The music is also very fun for this game, it's amazing how a piece of music could fit a game so well, it is a very fast paced tune which keep the spirit up in the game so you urge to do better.

Graphics
As you'd expect from a game like this, the graphics are not cutting edge, it looks like any other 2D game. Although the graphics are very smooth and easy to run. You could easily run this on a laptop or low end desktop. The graphics have very warm and eye pleasing colors. Not much else I can add to this part apart from they are very average for a game of this type. The smoothness of the transitions of the blobs are very nice to watch, also when there are many players, it is still very smooth to watch. The overall layout of the maps in this game are nice, not to big and not to small they have some nice hidden holes that you can find extra diamonds or treasure in. In the online game modes this changes in some games, not to sure why, but in this game the detail is exactly the same, even though it contains maps I've never played on before. Great job on this, makes it all the more fun to play.

Controls
The controls are so really very simple in this game due to the type of game it is, any 2D game is relatively easy to play due to it having 2 buttons that controls everything, but in this they made it a little bit harder buy adding in the button mapper so you can either use a mouse and keyboard or a gamepad of some sort (Xbox 360 controller works fine). This is just for the option of console gamers who prefer holding a controller when they play. You can use the WASD or the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT arrow keys to move with the space bar to jump from one level to another. These are also very easy to pick up. So if you have a younger person who wants to play a game, this one will be my choice as it's very easy.
