Release Date: 21 Apr 2009

Synopsis
Zeno Clash is an action/fighting game set in a punk fantasy world. The game is played from a first person perspective and the combat is generally up close and brutal.
Experience a deep storyline set in a fantastic world. Play the role of Ghat, a man banished by his own brothers and forced to begin a desperate journey past the forbidden desert and to the end of the world.

Gameplay
This game is very very weird, it has a past time set. But it is fantasy to. So that in it's self is a recipe for disaster. Though saying that it isn't all that bad, I played it for a few hours and have completed it, but i still don't really know what it's about. The story line flies all over the place contradicting itself while the player is having to guess where and what to do. The beginning intro mission is extremely weird, everything is way to scripted and really bad to play. This game also features a very unusual arsenal of eccentric weapons that can be built from scraps and junk. Hammers and clubs will be the most effective when fighting heavy characters that can only be brought down with extreme force.

Graphics
The graphics I think are the best part of the game really, they have great color depth with a warm feel. The detail could be better, but on a cheap title, you can't expect more. The dark tones are very deep and the transitions are brilliant. The character models are very odd to look at, I'm not sure what they're based on, but maybe that's the point. So really a nice job on the graphical side of the game.

Controls
The controls are very simple and easy to get the hang of, they have stuck to the simple layout of mouse to look and action with the keyboard for maneuverability. This game does not have the option for controller use, but it's a small title and that would have been harder to implement. But with the mouse and keyboard it's just fine. I had to change the layout of a few odd buttons here and there, but nothing major. Overall a very well laid out controls mapping.
