Synopsis
Badland is an atmospheric side-scrolling action adventure game that takes platforming to the next level with innovative use of physics in level design. The game immerses players in an audiovisual gaming experience through a lush forest full of various inhabitants, trees and flowers. Although the forest looks like it's from some beautiful fairytale, there seems to be something terribly wrong. You control one of the forest's inhabitants, on a journey to discover what's going on. Through the quest, you discover astonishing amount of imaginative traps and obstacles.

Gameplay
Badland, as said before, it is a side-scrolling adventure game where the player has to dodge obstacles and get to the portal or the finish line at the end. The game consists of circular objects with wings, various amounts of traps, and obstacles. There is a lot of levels to choose from making the game not as repetitive and having a great time on each level. On some levels there is saws, falling objects, and much more. In badlands there are also power ups that if you pick them up you will have two animals, spin around, stick to things, or get bigger or smaller. Those power ups will come in handy. There are two modes multiplayer and single player. In multiplayer it goes up to 4 players playing on one device, each player gets a corner. Multiplayer you don't get to play single player levels you play other levels that are challenging and fun. In single player there is a lot of levels to play, you must go in order to play certain levels. I got up to about 60 levels and then I stopped. I really enjoy how much levels there is to choose from and how there is a multiplayer on this game, considering that there isnt much iOS games that have multiplayer.

Graphics
The graphics in Badland aren't really bad for an iOS game. It has little bird thingy that has little bumps or hairs on it. Since the screen slides forward his hairs will look like they are being blown by the wind. The traps or obstacles, depending on which ones your talking about, are very smooth. Like the saw it it runs really fast, has spiked edges, and can easily be identified what it is. If you are killed your guy will pop or blow up, his eyes get bigger too, and its little pieces will go flying. The background of the game has vines, a mix of colors, and either animals or weird looking shapes. I really like how every thing runs really nice and smoothly with no lag whatsoever. Overall best iOS graphics I have seen in awhile, I really like these graphics.

Controls
The controls of this game are pretty much the same as every other iOS game, tap the screen, hold the screen, don't tap the screen at all. Tapping the screen or holding the scree will cause your animal or object to go up and dodge obstacles or fly in the air and keep steady. Not holding or tapping the screen will cause your character to drop down and not be flying. I really like how one game is just one control to learn and is not a rush or have to learn a lot of controls. Overall best controls for a slide screen game.
