Synopsis
AirBuccaneers is a multiplayer airship pirate game with shamanistic Buccaneers and infamous Vikings fighting over domination of the North. This cooperative 1st person game requires seamless teamwork and strategic battle skills.Welcome to the ancient North that, once the cradle of culture and peace, is now corrupted by magic and inhabited by nasty bandits sowing destruction in airships.

Gameplay
Now this is a tough one, I really would have liked to have liked playing this game, but it just makes no sense. As soon as you load the game up, you're thrown into a server of some sorts and have to work it out all on your own. When you're heading in the right direction it will give you hints on what to do. But this is a very hard game to like and play, it's pretty much just a free for all battle but with floating gunships. You do have equipment that you can deploy and use from anywhere in the game. Like Airmines, they help destroy enemy gunships, but don't do much damage at all.

Graphics
Right, now... The graphics. Uhm, they're what I expected from such a small title. The terrain detail is very grainy and the sky looks like it's plastic. But the weapons and gunships do have genuinely half decent graphics to them, the textures on the wood and cannons are really quite good for a game of this type. Now I've never been a fan of these online only games, but this one really doesn't cut the mustard with me, it's all a bit to small and compact for my liking. But the graphics are good for the size of the title.

Controls
The controls, they're pretty basic and easy to learn. I picked them up with in minutes, but I'm used to playing various games on PC, so it may just come easier to me. I'm not sure... But overall they are a pleasure to play with, I'm glad they didn't try anything to fancy with them as it would have ruined the game even more. And that would have been terrible for their sales. I was playing on a mouse and keyboard, so there are only so many layouts these games can use.
