Synopsis
You play a survivor trapped in the savage zombie infested world of Navezgane County Arizona one of the last true Edens on Earth. Ironically Navezgane means Killer of Monsters to the Apache who have inhabited the land for centuries, and thats pretty much what youll do as you fight to survive and search for the truth behind what really happened.

Survival

Once you create a new world, you spawn into planned out world, but will soon be a randomly generated world similar to Minecraft. Your main and only objective in survival mode is to self explanatory. Again, similar to Minecraft you have the ability to craft, build, destroy, and change objects to help prolong your survival. The main challenge of survival mode is the fact that as days go on, the zombies get tougher to kill and destroy your things a lot more than they did the first week or so of your world. So instead of only focusing on building a nice and fancy house, you're going to have to invest time building a multi-layer fortress that is going to be able to withstand hundreds of zombies tearing down at what you spent time building.

Survival mode is for the zombie survival lovers out there. Just as they would in real life, they zombies multiply as days go on. Making 'Survival' perfect for people looking for a zombie survival based game.

Creative

In creative mode you are given a access to hundreds of the different blocks available within the game, randomly generated cities, and a huge variety of randomly generated tools. Thus making creative mode for those who don't want to follow the typical guidelines of Survival or Horde mode. You don't have to struggle to survive in creative. All you have to do is build whatever you choose and set your own rules on how to play.

This is basically a custom game mode creator for those who want to setup a custom server with their friends with their own custom set of rules. You can make the perfect survival city and play with your friends instead of having to start from scratch and just get killed repeatedly.

Horde

Horde mode is basically exactly what it sounds like. Hordes and waves of zombies come at night whilst supplies comes in air drops instead of being located throughout the map. The crates that get dropped from the sky can be anything from water, wood, spikes, to RPG's. Making this ideal for people who liked the wave system that Nazi zombies had. The AI for the zombies in this mode is still kinda buddy but they are working on it.

This game mode is meant for the people who liked spending hours on end just fighting the zombies. Less time is spent crafting and building and more time is spent just trying to stay alive and kill the swarms of zombies.

Graphics

The graphics in this game a are not that good. But the fact is, this game is only still in Alpha. This isn't BF4 type graphics, but for a whole game based around zombie survival, I think The Fun Pimps did I good job. As of right now, it still has a bit of a cartoonish look to the zombies and the buildings, so don't expect it to look that realistic. The textures of the water and ground look incredible. You can see each strand of grass, so the colors don't look like big clunky blocks. The animals on the other hand look quite bad. I understand this is a zombie game and they had other things to focus on than the animals, but they just don't look good at all.

Controls

The controls in this game are quite similar to the controls in any other PC game. You control movements with the WASD keys and you control the way you face with the mouse. The simplicity of the controls make the game easier to learn since anyone with past experience of PC games won't have to relearn a bunch of controls.

If you have played games like DayZ or WarZ, you will catch on quickly. Nearly all the controls are the same from those games.

Rating
