Synopsis
Overflowing with sex, blood, and rock 'n roll, Lollipop Chainsaw is an un-deadly story of a sweet, killer zombie hunter and her mission to uncover the root of a widespread zombie outbreak. With her wickedly effective chainsaw in tow, Juliet slices and dices her way through waves of the undedead, but quickly realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw toting cheerleader.

Plot
The game begins with Juliet who wakes up to celebrate her 18th birthday. Juliet is a cheerleader who attends San Romero High School to meet up with her boyfriend Nick. As Juliet begins making her journey to her high school on her bike, she notices a horde of zombies roaming the area in front of her. After she gets passed that, she then collides into a bus and ejecting out of her bike along with her gym bag which contains her beloved chainsaw. She then makes it to her high school, and sets out on a quest to find her boyfriend Nick. While on a quest to find Nick, Juliet encounters the zombies that have entered the school's area. Juliet then uses her chainsaw to kill the zombies and continue her search for Nick. Upon finding Nick, he is being attacked by zombies and becomes infected, but before he morphs into a zombie, Juliet uses the chainsaw to detach his head from his body. Later after that, Juliet begins to talk to Nick's decapitated head and realizes that he is alive and then attaches Nick's head to her waist. Furthermore, Juliet continues her way through the onslaught to stop the zombie outbreak.

Gameplay
The gameplay of Lollipop Chainsaw is weird and sexual at times but does have its funny moments. This game may not appeal to those players of the First-person shooters or racing types but if your the type of player that likes zombie killing games or just likes seeing a cheerleader using a chainsaw on zombies to her demise, then this game is for you. Rather than using the chainsaw, the player can use Juliet's pom-poms or use her kicks to also exterminate the zombie horde. The player collects coins when killing zombies to use them to purchase power-ups for Juliet and also receives a score at the end of each mission. The player also collect lollipops to restore Juliet's health. The player will reach certain points when they have to save an innocent civilian from the zombie horde. By successfully eliminating any zombies towards the civilian, the player receives an award for it. The player will also reach certain parts in the game where they have to battle a mini boss. The mini bosses don't prove much difficulty as the actual bosses themselves proof.

Graphics
If your expecting any sort of realism from Lollipop Chainsaw, then you are indeed wrong. Lollipop Chainsaw falls more more on the cartoon side than anything else. Apart from everything else but the characters and zombies, they are actually pretty well designed. The facial features and looks the character shows is really good too. Apart from that, the blood is a letdown due to its unrealism and lack. At some parts in the game, the blood does look better and clearer, but other than that, its really vague. The background of the map the player isn't that great and appealing to look at but it is decent for its type of genre. As for the structures and buildings, they aren't the best nor are they the worst to have been constructed.

Controls
The controls in Lollipop Chainsaw does prove its difficulties towards for new players to its unique configuration as well as experienced players of different genres. The player will have to use different button combinations to chain up a unique set of moves on their enemies. The camera does get annoying and makes it harder for the player to view the surrounding area when it tight spaces since the camera gets stuck and the player is unable to move the camera in the way they desire it to move. Sometimes the player will notice when a button prompt is active and presses it and still see the prompt even though there is no action to do the command which gets in the way of the view of the player and could cause annoyance towards the player.

Lollipop Chainsaw was never a game to be taken seriously and thats why its so appealing as it throws away the conventions of how a game should be or how people in the world behave and react, as in the spirit of all that is Suda 51 the game does what ever the hell it wants and that
