NHL "13
Release Date: September 11, 2012
Developers: EA Canada
Publishers: EA Sports
Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360
Genre: Sports

Synopsis
NHL 13 is an ice hockey video game developed by EA Canada published by EA Sports. It is the 22nd installment of the NHL series and was released on September 11, 2012 in North America, Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand. The game was released on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, featuring Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux on the cover.[1] The game was featured at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2012 (E3 2012), which took place between June 57, 2012. The demo of the game was released on August 2122, 2012, at the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store.[4] This is the first game in the series since NHL 2005 to receive a rating below 16 in Europe.

Gameplay
NHL 13 is really fun to play CPUs and your friends. The players has a wide number of teams to choose from on which one they like. EA has added a lot of new features to this game making it better and much more fun for the player. On the ice its where all the fun begins. You can hit people, check with the puck and get into one on one fights. The player then learns that he/she has to play with strategies, passing is the key thing in this kind of game. The player can see who they are with an indicator over there head. The player can also switch players whenever they want to. Going up and down the ice makes the game more intense and much more fun to play.

Graphics
The graphics in NHL 13 aren't the best for this kind of game. Of course they have improved since NHL 12 but it wasn't a big improvement. All the players jerseys look sharp in random spots. When your on a one on one fight you can see the persons face looks more realistic, you can see blood flying out when punching them, and you can also see that there cheeks are slightly red for how cold it is. The player can change there perspective of the ice and the graphics in the game like; brightness, blood, and more.Yet again this game isn't really based on how the players look and what everything looks like, its about where the puck is at all times. Overall the games graphics aren't the best but they are better than NHL 12.

Controls
The controls in NHL 13 aren't the best either. It took me 2-3 matches to get use to all of the controls and what to do. Every button, I mean every button has a control. It isn't the greatest thing to have in this particular game. The joysticks have like 4 controls, shoot pass, hit people, and one more I think of. Offensive and defensive side have there own controls which is good but still it gets confusing cause every button has at least one control. I personally don't like how wide spread these controls are and how each button does something different.

Rating
Synopsis 8/10
Gameplay 8/10
Graphics 7/10
Controls 6/10
Overall 7/10

I am fan of ice hockey and I love to watch it. Last year NHL 12 was totally same like 11,10 etc.. From this year there are some changes, but for this price its not worth it. The new movements from goaltender are good, but its enough? I guess so not. What I like in this year is skating, seems like real. But .. when you hit player, he is going sooooo far from you, like if he has wings ... yep its ea sports. Online game is better than against cpu. So far, its still better than 12 and finally, you can recognize players, faces are good!
