Feel bad for Rhys Williams, out his depth
not rhys fault at all wouldnt have to be thrown into the deep in if we made signings.

I understand what your saying but throwing money to act as a plaster, pointless waste of cash when you have a unit at the back when everyone's back fit.

I can see why they aren't signing a cb

no one knows what hes gonna be like when he gets back

Also true but what are the chances your gonna sign someone better than him without breaking the bank
Not better but competent, they will lose out on CL at this rate

That's just craic though

Frank Lampard did a good job last season. Expectations went up this season due to how much money was spent and the fact there is no sign of progress, even in some of the wins we had it is still hard to think of many good Chelsea performances this year . No surprise he's gone ... just a surprised it happened after a win! But is definitely the right decision.

Lampard should never have been appointed in the first place, far too big a gig for an amateur manager. Not surprised he's been sacked.

Not Lampard's fault?

The signings haven't been great but when you're being played out of position all the time and in a new league, one having covid too doesn't help. And yes great players should be able to adapt and play in other positions but in honesty it's very difficult.

Let's be honest, he was almost 2 years into the job and he didnt know his strongest eleven. No consistency in picking his teams. I'm still struggling to see Lampards footballing philosophy in his system he had zero in game tactics. I love Lampard to death but the job came too early for him should have been given more time to manage elsewhere.
