Plot
Fancy Pants really does have quite the storyline. In the first world, Fancy Pants runs around attacking spiders, collecting squiggles and stars, collecting new designs for his beloved pants and waking up a penguin who becomes enraged and attacks him in a bull-like manor, literally. The second world definitely has a more interesting story than the first world. The game begins with Fancy Pants playing golf with a snail shell, when he pots the shell in the hole, the mayor appears and awards Fancy Pants with his very own ice cream! However, it's not all as wonderful as it sounds, an angry rabbit appears and steals Fancy Pants new ice cream and jumps into the golf hole, along with the ice cream. The mayor tells Fancy Pants that he must retrieve the ice cream from the rabbit for the sake of humanity, justice, and so that World 2 will have a significant plot line. So the game begins and Fancy Pants begins defeating various new enemies and finding new sets of pants and throughout six fun-filled levels until he finds the rabbits home and defeats him to retrieve the ice cream stolen at the beginning of the game. On the console, the story is slightly different as Fancy Pants sister is kidnapped by pirates and Fancy Pants must go rescue her but the levels are mostly the same.

Gameplay
The gameplay is very simple and to be quite frank, there really is not much to do other than simply play through each mission to progress through the story. Fancy Pants is very skilled in the art of free running and has to run and jump to different ledges and platforms throughout each level whilst defeating enemies such as rats, snails and of course, spiders. Fancy Pants can defeat each enemy by jumping on top of them and then kicking them once. There are two different types of items to collect throughout the story which are different types of pants and trophies. Trophies can be found in secret rooms throughout the game by completing the room and escaping through the top door, although these rooms can be quite challenging. Pants can be attained by playing games of golf throughout each level while trying to land a snail shell in a golf hole whilst avoiding enemies and obstacles to reach the hole. In the console version there is a different story line and hats can also be collected throughout the game.

Graphics
The graphics of this game are extremely simple but they make the game what it is. Fancy Pants is a two-dimensional game as if it has been drawn on a piece of paper which I suppose is what the developers were aiming for. Its definitely a fairly unique idea which has not been used in too many other games. Fancy Pants is simply a stick man with a scraggly head of hair and a pair of large pants on his legs and a hat on the console. When Fancy Pants jumps his hair and pants move with the drag as they should when jumping in real life which is a really nice touch. Overall, the graphics are really interesting and although they are nowhere near the best out there, they work well with the game.

Controls
The controls are very, very simple in this game. The player only really has the option to run, crouch and jump, however there are special moves the player can use such as wall jump and back flips using different combinations of the limited controls. The controls are very easy to pick up and are easy to learn for both experienced and un-experienced gamers.
