Synopsis
Grab your Wii Remote and prepare yourself for Play-time fun! Whether you pick up the Wii Remote to play the shooting gallery that harkens back to the days of Duck Hunt or use it to find matching Miis, a world of fun is in your hands!

Gameplay
WiiPlay offers the player a large variety of completely different games which all allow the player to gain a batter grasp of different genres of games commonly available on the Wii such as racing, shooting, hand-eye co-ordination and sport related games. There are nine games available to play where the player can constantly replay to earn new high-scores and achieve new medals. Medals can be earned when the player beats or matches a set score, and dependent on that score a bronze, silver, gold or platinum medal is awarded. In the game, the player can control his/her own Mii which they create when making their Wii profile which makes their player easily recognisable. Despite the simplicity of the game, it is actually quite addictive and really does complete its goal as being a training game. Some of the different games the offers include, target shooting, cow racing, billiards, fishing, laser hockey, mii spotting and ping pong. The game also offers a split-screen feature where the player can play any of the games with a friend to compete against one another and try to get as many points in each game to earn a game point which shows the players how many games they have won against one another.

Graphics
The graphics are extremely simple on this game, however that does not really matter as the game was created to help players get used to motion-controlled gaming rather than to show off impressive graphics. However, the graphics are quite attractive and could definitely be described as clean and smooth but definitely lacking any detail. Overall, no probably on this front but definitely nothing special.

Controls
This game really is all about the controls. Each game has a set of very basic and simple controls, but each game is so different to the last that the player is essentially using the controls in nearly every possible manner but not all at once. WiiPlay really does teach the player how to use the the Wii controller in a variety of ways without making any game too difficult to enjoy. Since this game is designed for families and young children, each game offers fairly simple controls which are fun for everyone and not too difficult.
