Zynga Poker is a social game developed by Zynga as an application for the social-networking website Facebook as well as Android, iPhone, MySpace, Tagged, and Google+. It launched in July 2007. With 38 million players, Zynga Poker is the largest poker site in the world.

Well the basic setting for this game is pretty bland as it is a poker game. The menus are just a woman in the background trying to look sexy and their are options to chose from. Then when you get into the game you chose your spot at the table, you may think you actually sit down at a table but no your accounts picture just shows up at that side of the table. Although the table, chips, where the dealer is sat ect. is all correct so for that, that kind of makes it better but not much, at least some artistry on the wall or something. Overall an okay setting for a poker game.

As it is a poker game you spend all of your time playing cards, you don't really need to know poker to play this game, you can kind of guess if you have a decent hand or not, but you might want to look up the rules before playing. The game grasps what it's like to be in a real poker game, like when everyone 'checks' meaning they don't put money on the hand and you can tell nobody has a decent hand, or when you think someones bluffing when they suddenly go all in, so for that it makes it feel like you're really in the game. There are many game types to chose from, you can just chose 'Play Now' which will put you in a random game, this can either be boring or fun depending what the buy-in is or how good the other players are. There is a 'sit-n-go tourney' which is where you have a tournament and it's whoever is the last person on the table with money wins, if you get knocked out you get a rank depending on how many people were left on the table. There are also classic games everyone should be familiar of like 'Blackjack' which is over wise known as '21s' where you have to get as close to 21 as possible, if you go over 21 you lose. 'Golden scratches' where you scratch a card and if 3 amounts of money pair up then you get that money. And finally 'Hi - Lo' you have to guess if a card is going to be higher or lower than another.

Well the graphics are reasonably smooth making the game very responsive, although most of the games lag is to do with server connection and not the graphics it self.The lighting of the table looks really good, as well as the sound effects of the game (chips being handed over, the gasp for air when someone goes all in) really makes the game very believable.

As it is an app, it is all done with selecting options using your finger/thumb. Overall very simple. Although due to connection and the time limit, controls can be very pressuring causing you to maybe back out or bid too much.

Overall it is a fantastic game that can keep you entertained for a while, but if you're not a big fan of poker like me, this can make you bored very quickly, but all in all a reasonably good game!
