Synopsis(WIKI)
Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (6 su Konbatto Shikkusu Kaih e no Senka?) is the sixth installment developed by Project Aces and published by Namco Bandai Games exclusively for the Xbox 360 as part of the Ace Combat franchise. It was released on October 23, 2007 in North America, November 1 in Japan, November 23 in Europe, and December 13 in Australia.

Story
Ace Combat 6 follows the fictional story in a fictional war time, between Emmeria and Estovakia, where both are located on Aenean continent. The time takes place at around 2016 or so, being developed in 2006, released in 2007, this game was made to really predict a war zone between fictional continents. You're main characters are placed on the Emerrian side, placed on Garuda, a compilation of some of the best pilots in Emmeria. The game also a follows a civilian story line of the story of Melissa Herman. The game starts out when Melissa's daughter is headed to a field trip, when enemy planes take out the bridge she will be crossing. You are then placed into action, where you must find the enemy air crafts, take them down, and from then on, going throughout a civil war, taking down enemies throughout the game.

Graphics
The graphics in Ace Combat assault are sincerely impressive. The graphics, design, and structure in general is quite amazing. The scenarios are really what boosts the score up to a high. The camera movements around the air crafts are near perfect, and the scenarios are widely varied, from colorful forests, mountains, and city skyscrapers, all within the range of the air craft in which you are driving. The characters in the planes are barely visible, but the ones a foot do lack some design and details. The air crafts are very individual and are designed greatly. The shooting and explosions also contain much detail and lack nearly anything. The graphics in Ace Combat assault are great, especially for it being an airplane combat game.

Gameplay
The gameplay in Ace Combat Assault has various aspects to them, that either lack, or flow very well in the game. Let's start off with the basic gameplay, including shooting, flying, and exploring. The flying may seem somewhat tricky at first, but you do get used to it. Some aspects like turning have somewhat difficult aspects, but you can attach pretty quickly. The shooting does have some minor features that may seem buggy and laggy, and it does get pretty glitchy sometimes. Exploration lacks, as there is nothing to really explore, and is based on a set of various missions that may seem tricky and confusing. The on screen display does get confusing at first, which is hard to adjust to for new comers. The mission structure seems to have rather either very lengthy missions, or very short missions, which isn't bad, but this switch occurs quite often.

Reception
The reception for Ace Combat 6, received some rather mediocre to higher scores. Nothing exactly perfect, or sincerely special, but it did get some higher 7s, 8s, and lower 9s. It was mostly praised for its amazing scenarios, and having one of the best graphics structure in a game such as this. The overall score that it was given, was around an 8.5/10. From IGN, it received an 8.4, and various other critics, it was given around 4 stars, from those who base off of that rating system. The game was negatively pointed out for having poor mission structure, and having confusing aspects of it throughout.

FINAL RATINGS:
Synopsis: 8
Story: 8
Graphics: 9.5
Gameplay: 7.5
