Synopsis(WIKI)
Tomb Raider: Legend is the 7th entry in the core Tomb Raider franchise. Published by Eidos Interactive, this is the first game in the series not to be handled by British-based Core Design, developed instead by British-owned U.S. studio Crystal Dynamics.
The PS2, Windows, Xbox, and Xbox 360 versions were released in Europe on 7 April 2006 and in North America on 11 April 2006. The North American PSP version was released on 20 June 2006, the Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS versions were released during November 2006 and the Mobile version was released in December 2006. The Windows version was released in 2006 and it was also made available for download to GameTap subscribers on 31 May 2007. In 2009, Eidos announced Tomb Raider Legend sold 4.5 million copies[1] making the game the most commercially successful game since Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation. A version for the PlayStation 3 is included in The Tomb Raider Trilogy collection released in March 2011.

Story
The story of Tomb Raider follows the story of Lara Croft, first opening up as a child, in a private jet with her mother. When the plane crashes, Lara and her mother are the only 2 survivors left. After they find safety, a sequence of events leads Lara to witness her mother dissapear. The game then flashes forward, and Lara appears in Bolivia, with a couple of her friends, traveling in the mountains. While she makes her way down a narrow path she discovers, bandits open fire on her, intending to kill her automatically. When she escapes, she encounters a new world fit for discovery, and a new venture awaits.

Graphics
Considering this game was made and published in 2006, we cannot be entirely harsh on the graphics portion of the game, so instead we'll have to compare it to some of the mediocre games of its time. Tomb Raider: Legend follows a somewhat repetitive graphics system. The graphics seem to look the same, and have the same sort of structure to them. The scenarios in this game is a major plus. Taking place in most of Bolivia, the graphics structure really has some amazing views, and scenarios to explore. The vivid colors also make its way into the game, as it has some really neat tropical features and scenarios. The characters are modeled well for this year, and overall the graphics deliver a satisfactory feel.

Gameplay
Tomb Raider: Legend features a wide variety of gameplay to choose from. The game features action, gun play, and puzzling areas, or even action packed explosions. The variety in this game is very widespread, and features tons of different ways to play the game. The game mainly focuses on the puzzling aspect of it, and although it has its moments, some aspects of the puzzles have extreme repetitiveness and are particularly cheesy. The game features some Indianna Jones camera movements and sequences. The puzzles are very repetitive, and feature the same sequences, and most of them aren't even that varied, or challenging. Overall, the gameplay does not deliver a great experience.

Reception
Tomb raider: Legend received some expected reviews from various critics. The game was said to have enticing puzzles and a variety of gameplay. The soundtrack was quite nice as well. Overall, IGN and many other reviewing companies gave the game a mediocre 8/10 or some 7/10. Nothing completely good, but nothing completely bad, and overrated. The game was well recognized for its variety of gameplay, and its expansive puzzling quests.
