Rating: T, 12+
Genre: Action, combat
Platform: Cross

Synopsis(Wiki)
ron Man is a 2008 video game based on the film of the same name as well as the classic iterations of the character.[2] It was released on May 2, 2008 to coincide with the release of the film in cinemas. The game is published by Sega, and was released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 (developed by Secret Level), PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Wii, PC (developed by Artificial Mind and Movement) and Mobile Platforms.

Story
As expected, Iron man the game, follows the same storyline as the original movie it was entirely developed off of. The story may change at times, and it may not be exactly the same as the movie, but it does get the point across, and delivers a nice, simplistic storyline. Tony Stark, travels to Afghanistan to present his newest weapons, and vehicles , his humvee in which he was traveling in, explodes, and he is kidnapped by the terrorist group known as "Ten rings". Ten rings, knowing of Tony Stark's amazing inventions and weapons, instruct him to create a missile, powerful enough to destroy states, maybe even countries. They force him to do this, but the entire time they think he is building the missile, he builds a robot costume used to help him escape the hands of Ten Rings. Once he escapes, he is introduced to a whole new world.

Graphics
The graphics in this game, dissapoint me, as they do as well to many other people who have either played this game, or seen some gameplay. The graphics follow dull and harsh to see graphics, and colors. The game in general features some very hard to recognize features, and some images look partially pixelated. Although some of the scenarios may seem beautiful from a far, getting up close and near the actualy scenario, will deliver a dissapointing, and very hard to see feel. Flame throwers seem to have thinning flame, and guns and gunshots are a very light, and blank yellow.

Gameplay
Gameplay in Iron Man delivers a satisfying feel- to some aspects of the game. Iron Man definitely gives a fun, new innovative feel to the gaming industry, but it really fails to fulfill that feel. For example, if the company that developed Arkham Asylum, or Bethesda, developed this game, so much could be brought out of it. The gameplay has a very repetitive feel to it; kill a bunch of enemies, face a boss, continue to the next level. Also, the AI may be either really hard or really easy. Although this may seem cool, imagine facing 25 easy guys in a row, and having to adjust to a boss level enemy. The game is really poorly constructed in general, and the gameplay does have it ups though. Cool explosions, and gunshots also fill Iron Man.

Reception
As expected, Iron Man didn't receive any better of a score that I will give it, than the actual one it got from real critics and reviews. The game was an overall flop. The game did get some overall quality reviews, and scores, but one of the leaders in critical reviews, Official Nintendo Magazine, gave it a 1.5/10. Gamespot gave the game a 40/100, and awarded it "worst game anybody every played" in the 2009 gamespot awards. Euro gamer gave the game a 3/10, and IGN gave the game a not surprising 3.8/10. the game overall didn't receive the best reception.

Great review, I played this game when I was 10. Gets really repetitive like you said.
