Synopsis

DJ Hero is a music video game, developed by FreeStyleGames and published by Activision as a rhythm game spin-off of the Guitar Hero franchise. It was released on October 27, 2009 in North America and on October 29, 2009 in Europe. The game is based on turntablism, the act of creating a new musical work from one or more previously recorded songs using record players and sound effect generators, and features 94 remixes of two different songs from a selection of over 100 different songs across numerous genres.

Gameplay

DJ Hero is meant to simulate being a real DJ. This game is well similar to the Guitar Hero series. The game is full of remixed songs that are great for partying hard. There are 5 difficulties that you can play on : Beginner, easy, medium, hard, expert. This game is quite challenging, as there are so many controls to do and click simultaneously. I have had a lot of experience with this game and believe me, it isn't easy. But anyways, the songs are very interesting and the game is a lot of fun.

Graphics

With my experience with the game, the graphics and detail are astonishing. There is wonderful animations that is incorporated into the game that give it a much more realistic feel. There is detail in the songs, characters, and turn tables. You can even spend your hard earned cash to buy new tables and turntables to help pimp out your looks. There is a gold turntable and it is perfected with spectacular quality and detail.

Controls

For the controls, there is a turntable that looks like this :

The controller consists of a wireless deck consisting of a movable turntable that supports 3 stream buttons, an effects dial, a crossfader, and a "Euphoria" (Power Up)button; a hidden panel contains additional controller buttons to interact with the gaming console outside of the game. The side panel comes off so you can adjust it if you are left handed or right handed.
