Game Information

Company: THQ
Title: Juice Games
Genre: Driving
Release: Sep 28, 2007 (EU)
PEGI: 12+

Synopsis

Players will compete in races over six different cities across the world, and as they progress through each race players will develop their unique Driver DNA. A profile given to each player depending on their racing personality, gamers can download their friends Driver DNA and add them to their crew in the expansive online mode. Also available online is the ability to bet on matches, or race for an opponents car in Pink Slip events.

Gameplay

The game play for this game is really bad, the sounds of the opponents cars don't sound real, don't get me wrong its an old game but it is just terrible the tracks are all the same with only a few, the campaigne races are too easy. The way to get money is quite tricky as you need to enter races etc, but these races are for pink slips and you will loose you car if you loose which just makes me rage!

Graphics

The graphics are like old school windows 98 graphics, they lack very much and they are not up to the job as your speeding down the track the grit on the road starts to go blur, the exhausts on this game kick out some flames which looks kind real. The car colours are nice and its same for the decals, its just the tracks that kill this game off. As the smoke looks real and the sky is very detailed its a good game to play if your using a PS2.

Controls

The controls are easy with just a right trigger for the gas and left one for brake, analog stick for steering and the other for camera. Theses controls are easy to get around.

Rating
5/10 - Good for youngsters.

I used to have this game. It's ok at first if you play with a couple of friends, but gets extremely repetitive and the control scheme is seriously lacking any creativity whatsoever...
